Cow Bird

I'm so excited. We have a new bird in the neighborhood.

I hear him singing more often than I actually see him. We saw his wife at the feeder. He was on the fence watching her and every so often he would puff up and make his squeaking noise.
We still have dark eyed juncos around. They are around here in the winter. I like them, but I wish they would go away. Still seeing them is making me very nervous. Winter is over, GO AWAY!

Am I mistaken, or is this a cowbird? If so, they are not the best birds to have around. They lay their eggs in the nests of other birds. When their babies are born, they knock the 'rightful' nestlings out of the nest.
