D's A Star

Posted in Family
Yesterday was supposed to be D's last baseball game.  It was his first tournament game, and we just assumed they would lose.  They have lost the last 7 or 8 in a row.  But, they won.  And now they play again Wednesday.  It's ok, though.  D pitched an amazing game!  Everybody was complementing him.  I even was asked what I fed him that day.  He faced 20 hitters, gave up only one hit, and struck out 13 of them.  He had 8 strike outs in a row.  It was awesome.  Unfortunately, he is unable to pitch Wed because of the number of pitches he threw.
My little star will be 10 on the third....

Jul. 1, 2008 - Go D!!

I just recently went to my nephew's ball game, 5, 6, 7 yr. olds, so I know it can be a lot of fumbling and throwing the ball all over the place.

You must be sooo proud, it sounds like he had fun and did a wonderful job! It's exciting to see them progress through the season.

Yaah D!!

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 7 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
