Our Neighbor

Our neighbor has stopped by three times now. Just to chat. He and his wife are real nice. We have drive down to see them some time. Did you catch that? I said drive. We all have to pile in the car and drive to our neighbors! How great is that? His name is Jim and I keep wanting to call him Jim Nabors.
His wife said she knows of a place to get fresh honey by the bucketful. She said all you have to do is freeze it, and it won't sugar. I've got a whole list of questions for her. I think I'll start with, "Just what is that strange creature?"

I am now all caught up. And, I. Am. Exhausted! Whew, you've been going gung-ho, haven't you? I love-love-love the school room! Love Lil'L's precious "snarl". Love the sleeping on daddy pictures, and yes, Greek-seasoned ka-bobs are the BEST summertime supper food in a long, long time!

LMBO @ the Amityville window - at least you know you're at the height of summer critter onslaught. It gets much better when the weather cools down and everything dies off or hides.

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 1/2 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L 1, and a new little blessing due Jan 31. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
