My Sister "K"

Posted in Family

My sister just complained that I never write about her.  So, here is "An Ode to K".  Right now she is jabbering about shoes.  Boots to be exact.  Boots that you tuck your pants into.  Sounds uncool to me, but what do I know.  K is actually a hilarious girl.  When she tells stories, she uses her whole body.  She waves her arms, walks around, and talks funny.  She is the social, outgoing one of the bunch.  Whenever she is around, my mood improves greatly.  I find myself jumping around and singing.  I guess she brings out the best in me.  K recently moved back up here from Ga to live with me and help me out.  She has been so helpful with the baby.  So far, he seems to like her the best.  When he is crying and nothing, and no one seems to be able to help him, she will hold him and he will go to sleep.  I'm actually a bit jealous, but even more grateful, so I won't complain.  I would be running out the door screaming if it weren't for her.

Hi A, This is mom (Abiga51). Once again I didn't feel like logging in, too much trouble before I comment.
Yes, Kate, we all love you. You are a remarkable young woman. I am so proud of you. Thanks for helping sister A with baby B.
And he does not like Kate bestist. Ho hum. Well C likes me more anyway. LOve you all. Having a blast living here, Mom, Grandma(Abiga)

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
