Yesterday we started school again. D was NOT happy. He had such a bad attitude. My mom was trying to help him out with his work, and he ended up telling her that he was going to run away! I couldn't believe he said that. The last few months he has been experimenting with some back talk. With each new age, new problems arise. Sigh..... Anyway, we didn't do a whole lot of work. What took him the longest was writing out his memory verse. Fifteen minutes after I told him to start, he had only written 4 letters!!! He says, "You told me to do it neatly." I was kinda glad he was giving my mom a hard time, because I had previously thought I was the problem. He always seemed to do better when my mom was around, but I guess that is wearing off since my mom has been here about a month now.
I had been telling N, now that he is four, it's time for him to do some schoolwork. He would look at me with a big grin and say, "NAWWWW." During the problems with D yesterday, N came up to me and told me he was ready to do some "homework". I was so happy. He traced a couple of lines and circled some matching shapes and then went back to his dot to dots (which he doesn't realize is school work).
Well, time to go battle with D. I am so tired, the baby was up every 2 hours last night.
