On January 17, 2006, students around the world will commemorate
Benjamin
Franklin's 300th birthday by participating in a common scientific
enterprise.

Students around the world will flip a coin ten times and then enter
their
data at The Franklin Institute Online, demonstrating the power of a
single
coin when students around the world collectively engage in a common
scientific experiment to determine, once and for all, if "heads" or
"tails"
occurs more frequently in coin flips.
