I didn't join the blubber blogger contest, because I'd lose, but I was directed here from Chickadee's site..
so there's some traffic for you (at least I'm travelling in cyber space!)

I think I looked on the Adobe photoshop website and bought the one that is for "amateurs". I had the one for professionals and it was so far beyond me that I couldn't even figure it out and it was free. A friend had let me borrow it.

I bought Photoshop Elements because after much research I found it to be the best one with the best ratings for home use yet still challenged me to learn something. I don't remember it being too much (99.00) and saved my money from the stuff I sold on EBay. Just google Adobe Photoshop Elements and see what you get. Mine's the 4.0 version. I think Amazon has good prices on it.

It seems to have a nice help section but I'd still like to get a book to go along with it since I know there are so many cool things you can do that I have no idea about. I think it would be better than regular Photoshop. If I remember correctly I downloaded it from Photoshop. I know I didn't buy a disk.
Also, how do you get those cool graphics on your blog each time you make an entry? I like them.

ps...if i can find my receipt i'll let you know exactly what i paid for it. there are some simplier ones that aren't as much as elements (like photoshop album)
Here is the link for a free trial of Elements. I did it first.

well the flippery fish thing means not how many hits to my blog, but how many people have my blog linked to their blog. So, add me to your friends list, and depending on how many 'friends' you have linked to your blog, you go up in the ecosystem.
does that make sense?

You are a hoot! I agree that when most of those people posted their weight, I thought, "Wouldn't I love to weigh that?!" They were skinny and I don't believe that she weighs as much as she said either. Her face looks too thin! : )

I think I will keep my weight from the homeschool blogging world. It's enough that my best friend weighs me each week. : )

Blessings,
Becky

About Me

Oh, the crazy things that happen in my house.... I am the wife of M for 8 years now. I am the mother of a 10 yo boy - D, 6 1/2 yo boy - N, 4 yo girl - Princess C, 2 1/2 yo boy -Toddler B, and girl Lil' L born May 18. I've been homeschooling since 2003. I lean towards a Charlotte Mason approach, but more often than not, it's "whatever works".
