Dec. 5, 2006 - FIELD TRIP
I keep doing something wrong... this is the 4th or 5th time I've tried to post this. Hmmm...
I'm getting lots of typing practice today. Ü
Tuesday we went on a FIELD TRIP to the Iowa Department for the Blind.
I tell you what... we really learned a lot.
One thing we learned is that Josh Leonard is still there. We got to see him and say hello for a bit. He is the son of John and Bev Leonard. What a nice kid. They did a great job raising him! Now we know better how to pray for him and his family.
That wasn't the reason we went on the field trip, but it was a nice benefit.
Since I've typed this over and over again... I'm just paring it down to the essentials. We had a nice time! Learning the living way. Ü

Wow I read up on everything you have been doing and good for you! I am so glad that you have found a schooling style that works for you. It is so important to feel comfortable in what you are doing. We scrapped some stuff and went back to what was working for us too.
Anyway I am so happy for you. Being online must help you feel connected too. I am dealing with a bit of isolation blues today. In other words," I miss my Mommy and I want to go shopping with her !", lol. Seriously I am struggling with isolation and I find myself watching QVC so I can feel like I have friends. How pathetic now I am really ROFL or is it ROFC not sure. Well enough revelation on my life today. Good to hear all is well with you. See Ya tonight. |

| Sounds like a neat-o field trip. I should check into something like that around here. Jerald has been teaching himself brail and I bet he'd love to visit a school for the blind. |
