just wondering?
Hey, I was just wondering and wanting to hear from you. The wondering part is are any of you grammas and living in close proximity to your children? Even on the same property? And what are your favorites times with the grandkids? Funny sayings you may hear from time to time? If you would like to share some info I would love to read it.
Ours has been a pretty unique situation, running our own town and everyone in it related. I do keep journals but was wondering if there are any others out there?
We have had a very busy summer so far and I covet your prayers for strength and rest. The Lord has enabled me to be a wife, mom, grammy, baker,waitress, sometimes run the grill and clean bathrooms too. Maybe more on days, depending on the needs. Then there is always my love for quilting and reading...and quiet.
We ordered Jacob's second grade curriculum with Alpha Omega. Very excited about this because we used life pacs for our kids years ago. Christina (giggles3) is also using it for Jonas. It is wonderful that so much is available for moms to use now days. When I homeschooled my kids it wasn't really the cool thing to do, not much support like you have here.
Be sure to take time to ponder the giftings of your children and pray for wisdom in being the tools that the God who designed them, would use you in their lives. What a grand and glorious position. A real honor that we all need to be reminded of.
I am so proud of my children and in seeing them raise the little ones God has entrusted them with. Again, they need lots of encouragement.
