Power of a Praying Wife- Day 8- His Fears

Day 8         His Fears

Men are susceptible to fear- without realzing it they get tackled by “what if’s”

If he is seized with great fear, it can keep him from all God has for him.

The only fear we are supposed to have is a Fear of the Lord.

When you have a Fear of the Lord, God promises to:

            -  to deliver you            2 Kings 17:39

            -  protect you from evil Proverbs 16:6

            -  keep His eye on you              Psalms 33:18

            -  show you mercy                    Luke 1:50

            -  give you riches and honor      Proverbs 22:4

            -  supply all you need                Psalm 24:9

            -  reveal all you need to know               Psalm 25:14

            -  bless your children/grandchildren       Psalm 103:17

            -  give you confidence               Proverbs 14:26

            -  a satisfying life           Proverbs 19:23

            -  the desires of your heart        Psalm 145:19

PRAY:

-                     fear will not rule over my husband—instead Your Word will penetrate every fiber of his being

-                     deliver him from fear that destroys—replace it with godly fear   Jeremiah 32:40

-                     Help him walk in Your truth

-                     May he rise up boldly and say, “The Lord is my helper—I will not fear—what can man do to me?”  Hebrews 13:6

-                     May the Spirit of the Lord rest upon him
