Power of a Praying Wife- Day 21 His Marriage

Day 21                His Marriage

Praying about all aspects of marriage keeps the concept of divorce from gaining any hold.

Pray God will preserve our marriage from any destruction such as divorce or adultery.

Continually pray any unreal expectations are exposed and all incompatibilities be smoothed out so you can grow together in a spirit of unity, commitment and a bond of intimacy.

Break any ties, good or bad, emotional or spiritual with any former relationships—you can’t move forward with you foot stuck in the past.

Don’t take your marriage for granted—not matter how great it is.

Ask the Lord to do whatever it takes to keep the marriage intact.

Pray God will make your marriage a source of joy and life to BOTH of you.

PRAY:

-                     Shield our marriage from our own selfish desires, neglect, from evil plans of others and from unhealthy or dangerous situations.

-                     May there be no thoughts of divorce or infidelity in our hearts

-                     Set us free from past hurts, and ties from previous relationship

-                     Unite us in a bond of friendships, commitment, generosity and understanding

-                     Our love will grow stronger for each other every day

POWER TOOLS

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

Malachi 2:15

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but *****mongers and adulterers God will judge.

Hebrews 13:4

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

1 Corinthians 7:10-11
