Don't go out there--

That is my new motto--  STAY HOME!!

Why?

-  it saves me a LOT of $$$

- people are CRAZY

- my kids get CRAZY

- I'm tired of answering:  "Boy you have your hands full don't you?"

                                      "So are you done now?"

"Got your girl, FINALLY...huh?"  (duh--- as the one comic says "Here's your sign"--after all she is in pink almost EVERY DAY)

 WARNING:  RANT COMING----

Yesterday was errand day-- CRAZY day with all 6 of us.....

First I took some items to a children consignment shop (40 minutes away)---  BOy that was a WASTE of time--they didn't want most of what I had-- (it was almost ALL NEW-- unused) WHATEVER

Then we went to Walmart to make an exchange- okay--no problems there

Then lunch at Olive Garden (Soup, salad, breadsticks..YUMMY)-- HOW MANY in your "party?"

Then- home -- for a quick stop

Then- off to get a tire fixed

Then off to a friends house to pick up some books --worked well--she took all the stuff in the back of my van that the consignment shop didn't want---so what a good fit there!!

Then home for a QUICK dinner

Then out for a homeschool planning meeting-- I was late-- I feel I am late for EVERYTHING NOW!!

Then today was 2 Well child appointments--

The first was for Joshua-- and the Dr. (female) kept saying'  "boy your moms hands are full--she needs a break--huh mom?"  "I don't know how you homeschool you really need a break"  (the kids were all GOOD at this point so it wasn't like things were out of control)..Whatever---

Then well appt for Rebekah--this was MID nap time with no bink for Stephen (bad idea)-- so that is self explainatory--but she his healthy and doing well-- i was a bit worried after my BIG BOYS-- she still seems too small (weighed 8.12 today).

Then-- I had a picture appt. at Walmart-- can't pass up $4 package deal-- right?  Rebekah hasn't had her pics taken yet-- so we went-- sat thru a PAIN ful session-- the lady was a bit "out there" and Rebekah CRIED a LOT... well then-- she kinda fell asleep a few times at the "ordering" table--  I must say-- I saw a few people in college like that and they were ummm on some "alternative medicines"-- I think she may have been too!!   So she ended up deleting ALL our pictures---and her manager could not recover them!!!  It was a bit comical she would be "drifting" with her eyes closed and Rebekah would cry and her eyes would come OPEN again-- WEIRD-- SAD---    Anway so we spent 55 minutes there with Stephen CRYING most of the time and we have NO pictures to show for it!!  My solution-- NO MORE WAL MART PICTURES-- I will take my own and order them thru snap fish----

So then we went thru the McDonalds drive thru for some hot fudge sundaes-- I needed one!!!

So on toward home-- came home--boys did animal chores-- I fed Rebekah and put Stephen down for a 30 minute nap (it was already 5pm)...

Then we ate dinner (in the crock pot) and hubby and I had a cup of coffee together-- and he asked me "What are your plans tomorrow?"  I said-- nothing- STAY HOME-- he said "Do you think the house looks a bit cluttered?"  WHAT??  I said-- ummm--well time for you to go back to bed!!!!  He was serious, but he knows how my last 2 days have been--  he's a steady-- and he knows how I am and he now REALLY likes a CLUTTER / CHAOS free home-- so I better get busy!!

Stay tuned-- my next entry-- maybe tonight will be about OUT OF THE BOX ways to CUT spendinga nd get DEBT FREE FAST!!!    I have an oil lamp buring RIGHT NOW!!

Oh girl! I am so with you about staying home. I do not go out unless I have to. And I mean have to. The only exception to that is if I can get it into the 40 minutes that Rocky has between the end of his feed time and before his nap time. And during the first 4 months, I have no exceptions to this rule except dr.'s appointments. I tried to be flexible and it got me cranky babies that didn't sleep. Ugh.

I am SO glad that the Lord has blessed us with a larger family! I know you are too....especially the redheads, they make life extra fun. :) My girl was the smallest also. This one is huge like his oldest brother. He is already in a size 2 diaper!

Do I ever dislike that WOW, you have your handsful statement. I think they say that because it would be full for them . They would have a hard time handling it. Probably comparing their life to all those children and not understanding what we are doing. ITs funny really.

Hopefully the next few days wont be so busy for you. I am not a fan of the errand chores either. I prefer to stay home most of the time with a activites with my homeschool friends. :)

Thanks again for the shoeboxes. We are using them today. Yup I'm up at 4 am can not sleep. lol

The best days are the ones spent at HOME! But why is it SO hard to make it happen?

Do you have a Picture People up in your area? They take great photos and are always e-mailing out coupons for free 8x10s... plus there is never a sitting fee.
