A Daybook for the week of July 5

A Daybook to Begin the Week

***
Outside My Window ...
It is dark and cool.  I love summer evenings.
The chickens were moved to the baby goat pen-- which was overgrowing with grass--they are happy hens!!

***
I am listening to...
The fan in the babies room coming thru the monitor and the boys watching a movie in my bedroom.

***
To Fit and Happy...
SIMPLE will be the key word for this week-- the menu has not been made by it will only be Jason and I with the 2 babies.

***
I am thankful for...
Jason home safe and sound-- and no more trips in the foreseeable future!!

  ***
From the kitchen ...
More berries are ready to be picked--
other than that- SIMPLE meals for this week
***
I am wearing ...
A summer nightgown

***
I am creating ...
PLANS for the new year-  school plans, goals for the new  year, some menu plans--- lots of planning and talking with hubby this week.  We like to take this time 1x a year-- but last year it didn't happen...I am looking forward to our talks this week.

   ***
  In my CD Player...
I have no idea-- Tomorrow I want to re-listen to "What to Expect from a 12 Year Old" on our way to Bedford.

***
Towards a real education ...
Still on a "break" for probably 2-3 more weeks.
I am also really looking forward to putting some school lessons together for the new year-- nothing dated-- but to have some real plans and ideas ready ahead of time.

***
I am thinking...
How much I am going to miss my older 2 this week-  my mamma bear tendencies are starting to come out- I want to say-- "stay home" but I know they and their grandparents are VERY excited about this week.

***
In the Garden...
I FOUND IT!!  Oh but it isn't pretty--  2 patches of nice lettuce and 2 rows of onions-- the rest was a loss--

***
I am reading  ...
Seasons of a Mothers Heart by Sally Clakrson and The Bible in my early morning quiet time
***
I am hoping and praying ...
For a nice week with Jason-- I love hearing his wisdom and ideas for our year--  he really is my balance-- and I am thankful for that.
***

On Keeping Home ...
I am so grateful/ thankful for my moms visit last week- she helped me get a LOT of things done--I feel the house is just about perfect-- except when Jason said "maybe we should've painted the dinning room before you finished"  and the WHOLE time I was wishing we could paint it-- but didn't want to pile one more thing on HIS plate--  we may pursue this -- this week-- how wonderful would that be!!
Other than that-- things are lookin good here-- now to just KEEP UP WITH IT!!  Not sure if the Zone method is the best-- and really trying to think ahead to September when I have 2 littles!!!  (and less and less time)
