Oh dear-- being pregnant in August is REALLY NO FUN!! Ughhhh and to think this is my 3rd time thru--- maybe a February baby next time!?! ehey? UGGHHHHH
Well today was a SUPER DUPER LAZY DAY--- we laid around and watched movies-- and sat infront of fans (we have no a/c...well we have one-- but I cannot decide where to put it-- so it is in the closet still).
Little Rebekah is like her mamma-- she does not at all appreciate being hot... she had a terrible time going down for her nap today-- cried and cried -- then we had a late dinner tonight and all littles NEEDED baths-- so I made their baths on the COOLER side-- and after their baths-- they all went RIGHT TO SLEEP!! Cool baths-- ahhhh maybe tomorrow we'll have a nap time bath-- to help us settle down!!
In other news-- a neat idea was brought to my attention today: from another board I post on:
It is so easy to get bogged down in the day to day and forget how much I love being a mama and how blessed I am to have these little ones.
I've decided to try a "30 Days of Surprises". Not anything too big, and definitely not expensive, but something that I can plan and they can look forward to.
This sounds PERFECT for ME right now--- I am very tired and very hot-- and have about 30 days till baby comes-- what a neat idea-- to have 30 days of surprises for my older 2--- to let them know I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!
So when I get off here in a few minutes-- I hope to make a list-- I'd love to hear if any of you "OUT THERE" have any good ideas for me!!
Here are few that were shared on the board:
Water balloons
Tea party,
backyard picnic
Make a fort in the livingroom (blankets over couches etc.) (a little to little for my guys)
Treasure hunt (It was really easy! Just took some pictures from inside and outside. As they found one destination they would find another picture with the next place to go. There were about a dozen clues.)
A fancy dinner with candles etc..
Sprinkler playing
Pedicure/light nail polish... (not sure my guys would enjoy) lol
Hair salon day at home- my girls love to try new hairstyles Nahhh :)
ANY crafts Oh please-- I am 9 months preggo-- please NO CRAFTS!!!! PLEASE!!!!

I am *not* pregnant, but between you and me, I feel awful. I read your posts about how you are feeling due to being pregnant and I wish that I had a super sonic plane, a full cleaning staff and a cook. I would fly up there and have them cook and clean for you while we went out for a girls day. We could take the Rebekahs. :-)
I know that I rarely comment, but I read every post. I would actually number you with one of my close friends, that's how well I feel I know you. Crazy, huh? Thanks for the comment on the movies thing. I realized later that the whole hamburger contest thing would probably sound argumentative and that wasn't what I was going for. I do want to enjoy movies. I wish that there was more stuff that I could watch without wondering, will I have to account for this some day? Ugh.
Praying for you my friend!! And yes, I vote fore a February baby next time! That was my favorite month to have a baby in.
