Making Progress

Well I feel I am FINALLY making progress on getting ready for the baby--

Really NOTHING is ready (FOR THE BABY, yet ) it has been  more of getting the REST of the family READY for the baby!! 

BABY TO DO LIST:

 

At home:

 

someone set up to watch kids-  My mom can be here in about 2-3 hours--- can we wait that long??

 

Stephen and Rebekah's schedules typed up-- (per my moms request)

 

I have a list of phone numbers available for those caring for my children (usually my mom or inlaws) with the kids' and my dr's numbers as well as a few friends who could help out in a crisis

 

 baby clothes washed -  

 

Crib set up in MASTER bedroom !?!

nursing b#&s washed -- Also bought 4 more... :) 

Nursing station (basket) with lansinoh, water bottle, burp cloths,

 

DIAPER BAG-- PURCHASED-- now need to set up (its just a BIG canvas bag like LL BEAN, but Walmart brand)  Rebekah will still have her little cooler bag since her RAW milk needs to stay super cold.  

I also restock toilet paper, paper towels and others such necessities so I don't have to think about them.

 

Kitchen DEEP CLEAN

 

Dinning Room DEEP CLEAN

 

Living Room Deep Clean 

 

Boys Room Deep Clean

 

Baby Room Deep Clean

 

Master Room Deep Clean

 

Bathrooms & esp Toilets spotless

Have a few things in the freezer,

 

Menu for crock pot meals w/ groceries purchased (or at least a list)

 
easy lunches (like make sure i am stocked on bread, peanut butter and jelly, tuna and mayo, and cheese.

 

Pack Items

 

camera ready to go w/ charger

 

CASH for dh to eat at the hospital

Breads-  (10 Zuchhni and 8 bananna in chest and small FREEZER)

 

Oatmeal (in tall mason jar in cupboard—if low—white bucket beside upright freezer)

 

Eggs/ Toast (bread 10 loaves in Freezers)

 

Pancakes-  (blueberry and Pumpkin in small freezer)  toast in toaster

 

Smoothies and Toast (yogurt w/ frozen fruit (in upright freezer)

 

Granola-  (icecream pails on top of fridge)

 

 

Lunch

 

**Any lunch may be served with Soup (in small freezer there is frozen chicken noodle, chicken rice, vegetable), or Yogurt of Fresh Fruit

 

Egg salad sandwiches (bread in freezers)

 

Grilled cheese (bread in freezers)

 

Peanut Butter and Jelly (extra jelly in basement)

 

Pizza Burgers  (English muffins and mozz cheese in upright freezer), sauce in cupboard or in basement)

 

Tuna melts  (tuna in cupboard or in basement-  bagels in upright freezer)

 

 

Dinner

 

** Dinners may be served with frozen vegetable (in upright freezer) and /or potatoes

 

Chicken Spaghetti (frozen in little freezer, thaw and put in crockpot)

Calico Beans (frozen in little freezer, thaw and put in crockpot)

Baked Beans (frozen in little freezer, thaw and put in crockpot)

 

Vegetable soup (3x frozen in little freezer, thaw and put in crockpot)

 

Cabbage Rolls (frozen in little freezer, add V8 and put in crockpot)

 

Spaghetti

 

Chicken Caccitore (can be made in crockpot)  Chicken in upright freezer

 

Baked Chicken (can be made in oven)  Chicken in upright freezer

 

Salmon cakes (made in griddle) Salmon in cupboard

 

Honey Glazed Chicken (can be made in oven)  Chicken in upright freezer

 

Pork chops  (can be made in oven  or in griddle with liquid smoke and potatoes) Pork chops in upright freezer

 

Crockpot chicken and gravy- grocerys are all available (see recipe)

 

Crockpot Cheesy Chicken and Rice- grocerys are all available (see recipe)

 

Crockpot Lasagna- grocerys are all available (see recipe)

 

Crockpot Beef Stroganoff-  grocerys are all available (see recipe)

 

 

Grocery Items Needed- Jason to pick up

**MILK DELIVERED WEDNESDAY- just put 4 empty bottles in cooler on porch)

 

Butter  (weekly)

Yogurt (weekly)

FRESH fruit (weekly)

 

Mayonaise

REAL Peanut butter

 

Canned Mushrooms

Salmon

V8

Cottage Cheese

 

Onions

Evaporated Milk
