Homemaking Binder- HOW TO

** Edited- COMPLETED April 19, 2008  No more updates

Keeping the Home-- is starting from scratch on HOW TO make a HOMEMAKING BINDER--

If you are interested--  here is where you can join in:   Welcome to HMB U.

This morning I took the extra time to make a nicecover-  I never had a cover--just a white cover--

Part 2:  Schedules

Part 3: MENU SECTION

I may add my FOOD binder (not my recipe binder) but more of my healthy food / local food binder into my HOMEMAKING binder to keep it all together--  TABS..(duh, why didn't I think of that..that is why I didn't put em' together I was tired of flipping thru to find what I wanted).  Looks like I MAY need a BIGGER homemaking binder after this!!  ;)

PART 4: CLEANING SECTION

If you visit Making the Home's website on her left hand side bar you will see lots of cleaning schedules/ideas....  In the below post of MY homemaking binder you can see where I got my ideas...   If you don't have a cleaning schedule-- it really does HELP-- even when I "fall off the wagon-- I have a wagon to get back up on!! "

I really like the idea of puting in TABS--- I really have no idea why I hadn't done this--  I may also change some of my cleaning schedules--- I was doing a ZONE a week--but I may change that back to a room a day--   I'll post more on this tomorrow-- after I think it thru some more!!

PART 5: HOMESCHOOL SECTION

This particular section falls into the category- do what will work for YOU-- not what others do- I have other plans set up for our homeschooling items--and to move them into this binder would cause me more issues--so I will not be setting this section up...but for some it may really be a benefit!!  So enjoy!!

PART 6: CHILDREN SECTION

This is a great section-- again-- I like her ideas but this is not in MY personal binder-   I have tried for about a half hour to access her entry on March 26, 2008.  It is excellent-- and I know I posted about it too--  because I like her idea and I have a coffee can full of things for the boys to do to keep em' busy.  They must do each item for a min. of 30 minutes.  (I'll keep looking for MY entry on this...but really go to her archive and read her March 26th entry!!! )

FOUND IT.. here is my version of this...  Coffee Can Activity Center

PART 7- BUDGET SECTION

Again-- another section that will not be in my binder-- we have a system--and we better just stick with it!!

PART 8- OTHER

In my binder OTHER would be all those wonderful encouraging articles-- see the link below for MY binder and the encouagement I receive from those "others".

PART 9- RECIPES

This is also not in my binder-- I have a WHOLE OTHER BINDER FULL of wonderful recipes I have collected.  A lot of them have come from  Tammy's Recipes and The Family Homestead and other numerous places.

PART 10- CONTACTS

This section is also not in my binder (see-- you REALLY must use what WORKS for YOU-- this entry is just to give some ideas--)  I have an address book on the side of the refirgerator that dh or I can EASILY grab when needed.

PART 11- The Successful Implementation

***************************************************************************************************

Even though I already have one-- I'm following along to see if there is anything I would benefit from adding-

Here are the entries to my Denise's Homemaking Binder PART 1   and Denise's Homemaking Binder PART 2.   If you have one and have blogged about it-- I'd LOVE to see it!!  (hint hint)
