Jan. 26, 2006 - I Guess I Really Have A Schedule...
This morning I was looking at quite a few homeschoolblogger sites and came upon a site that the mom had put up their weekly schedule. And I got thinking that my son K and I don't have one. But the more I thought about it, the more I think that we do, though not as detailed as others since I'm just homeschooling one. Here it is:
Mondays--
7:30am--Son gets up and gets ready for the day--breakfast, getting dressed
9:00am--We start school with Math, then writing
10:00am (ish)--Since we are doing sonlight we sit down on the couch and I read to him and he reads to me (he's a fist grader)
12:00pm--Lunch!!
12:30pm--Usually free time for him since we are usually done
Extra activities that aren't the norm: roller skating
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Same as Mondays
Sometimes extra acitivites like art and field trips
Thursdays--
7:30am--K gets up
9:00am--Start school
11:00am--lunch
11:50am--Leave for homeschool center where K takes classes in Art, Science and PE
12:30-3:20pm--Mommy time!!
3:30pm--head home
It was great to see that we do get things accomplished during our homeschool week and that I am still organized!!
