Well it's about time huh! the holidays are finally over and i am oficially back into my routine. |
|
So yesterday I turned a year older (24).
Now I know 24 is not old, but considering being married going on 5 years and having 2 kids and with Nick going to school to become a preacher, knowing what God has in store for our future I feel old having accomplished so much already!
I spent the day cleaning and doing laundry. My 3 year old built a block birthday cake and kept singing happy birthday to me thru out the day. Then put on my daisy shirt and went to teach my daisy class at church. After church my friends surprised me by singing happy birthday and they had made me a cake!! YUM-O strawberry!
Having friends is such a blessing! |

Alyssa, he has got his eyes on you!
Alyssa wants a cowboys jersey tooooo! by the way he would not put down that phone and keys that he is holding, we had to open all the other gifts while he was holding that.

We were singing to him and when we clapped so did he!! cutie pa tutie!
Alyssa licking the cars, she actually had been waiting a while to do that, that morning when i put them on she asked me if she could.

This is what daddy did, he was so sick, but he did help set up and clean up, so he sat over in the corner so not to spread his germs.

Alyssa, hard at work.
here is the log before we cut it into rolls.

We have been gone this weekend to south Texas to have a small b-day party for Will.
We normally have a small one there for my family and then a large party up here for all of our friends and family up here.
So fair warning there will be another bunch of pics from the next party in few weeks.
here are a few pics from the party.
This is Alyssa, Will and my Aunt Barbara in front of the cake!
This is Will and my Grandma, he gave shuggers all weekend!
This pic is after he had gotton the cake off of the plate.
This is one of my favs, Alyssa screamed at her 1st b-day she did not want any part of her cake, so it was fun to see Will really get in there and have fun with his cake. Course he really goes for anything that is edible!!
This is me and Will on the way to the bath tub!
This is Will and my Grandpa, Will has only seen him twice in his whole life but from the time we got there to the time we left Will was glued to his hip, THAT IS HIS PAPA!!! |

Ok so my son Will is almost 1 and is still not sleeping through the night. alot of factors are the cause of this. -my husband is going to school to be a preacher and he wants to go into the ministry debt free his parents have a pretty big house so they said that if i cook dinner for everyone every night we could live here for free for a year or two. but until december they also have a girl living with them as well so my two kids, my hubby and i all share our room the crib won't fit so we still co-sleep with our son. -everytime he wakes up to turn over or whatever he can smell my milk and wants it to go back to sleep
well i am almost scared to say this out loud (well you know what i mean) but for the past few nights he has only woken up 1 time so maybe we are on the road to all night sleep!!!!! |

Well, tonight was my first night to teach daisies at my church!
My girls did so good, daisies are all kindergarden age and so cute. it is so fun to see what Alyssa will be doing in a year or so.
Our badge that we are working on is Creating this is what we did tonight:
- i took plastic ware full of water, leaves, grass, carrots and rocks b/k God created all of that - we prayed - we cut out the pre made creation wheels and reveiwed them - we then started our paper mache worlds - we reviewed our wheels again and went over our memory verse (Genesis 1:1) - prayed again then went out to play on the playground
I had such a great time teaching, and am really looking forward for next week!! |
