So yesterday I turned a year older (24).

Now I know 24 is not old, but considering being married going on 5 years and having 2 kids and with Nick going to school to become a preacher, knowing what God has in store for our future I feel old having accomplished so much already!

I spent the day cleaning and doing laundry.

My 3 year old built a block birthday cake and kept singing happy birthday to me thru out the day. Then put on my daisy shirt and went to teach my daisy class at church. After church my friends surprised me by singing happy birthday and they had made me a cake!! YUM-O strawberry!

Having friends is such a blessing!

I'm glad to hear that you had a great birthday. Wow, 24?! lol I'm just kidding, I totally agree that you have accomplished so much already. You really are an amazing role model not only to your kids but to others too. Love you girlie!

Happy (belated) Birthday! I've enjoyed reading about your family, as I find a few similarities between the two of us! I got married when I was 19 and my husband was completing his final semester of college. My husband has served as a Pastor of Student Ministries for 14+ years, and it is my joy to minister with him within our local church body. God has blessed us with 3 beautiful sons.
