The Simple Woman's Daybook #7
|
For Today: August 4, 2008
Outside my Window... I can see just over the horizon a beautiful soft orange/pink glow that fades lightly up to soft gold and then to a pastel yellow that blends into a baby-blue. The sky above is still dark with no clouds. The air is very cold and crisp * a suttle reminder that Fall is not to far away.
I am thinking... how good it feels to start my day quietly in The Word.
I am thankful for... Today.
From the kitchen... I can smell the aroma of fresh coffee and I can see my Bible and study notes, I can hear the faucet dripping.
I am creating... an outline for Cubbies next year.
I am wearing... blue straight-leg sweats & a white tank....mind you it's 5 am.
I am reading... the book of Psalm.
I am hoping... that I am the wife, the mother, God wants me to be.
I am hearing... the sprinkler water the grass.
Around the house... I see a home I only dreamed of as a child, Thank you Chris.
One of my favorite things... is greeting my husband when he gets home from work.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week... getting ready for Noah's 4th Birthday!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you... ![]() HAPPY 4th!
