Calling all techies

I can't see any of my friends!! I click on their name, and an internet explorer window opens, but it's just blank. Any suggestions out there? I am using an old, used computer, so maybe there is no hope, I don't know. But if anyone has any ideas, I'd sure welcome them. I am severely technelogically challenged, so please be specific.

                                                                                                     Thanks!!!

The question that should never be asked....

Somehow we all know what it is, and yet we ask it anyway. We should know better...we DO know better...and yet it slips from our tongues before we can hold it back..."What else can possibly happen?" OOPS!! I've asked it!! I knew better!!!

My son calls today, clearly distraught. The house of fun he lives in has had tragedy strike it today. My heart breaks for a little life that has been snuffed out all too soon. I know a little soul is being cradled in the loving arms of the Father, but my soul still anguishes. I didn't even know the little 9 month old baby that died this morning in a bed with, I'm assuming, it's parents, I don't know. Michael called and said the child died of suffocation under the blankets.

Can we come stay with you? No. My heart rips from my chest. He has made bad choices. He has to face hard consequences. Does this get easier? Please tell me yes. Or don't tell me at all, I don't want to think about it...

How Dumb is This!?!?

Remember my 18 year old son? You know, the one living with friends?  And has no car? And has no driver's license? And no learners permit? And still needs to finish high school? And can't even brush his teeth without being told? And seeing a girl who is a witch? And bi-sexual? Yeah, that's the one. Well, he called me the other day and asked if he could come visit. Of course!! I love my son, no matter how stupid and irresponsible he is.

So, he comes over... Oh, wait, I GO PICK HIM UP, because remember, HE HAS NO CAR!! Anyway, he comes over, and guess what!!! He's getting married in three weeks. "Are you kidding?" you might ask. Well, no, do I LOOK like I'm kidding!?!? And he says to me, " She took a pregnancy test two weeks ago, but it was negative." Okay.

Ummm... I'm speachless, now. Oh wait, he also has until Friday to go see a doctor for a seizure problem he said he has when he went for a physical for a job, his first job, I might add. Or he loses his job. I don't think I mentioned that my son is a habitual liar. Guess he should think about how those lies may affect his future next time.

Ahh, someday well sit and laugh about all this won't we? HA HA HA HA HA

I've Been Tagged!?!?

All right, here are the rules.

We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.

Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.

People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight
things and post these rules.

At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged
and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re
tagged, and to read your blog.

1.) I love to read, but rarely have the time.

2.) I am a perfectionist in a slobs body. It's quit annoying.

3.) I REALLY wish I could adopt from a foreign country. (Too expensive!!!)

4.) I'd love to have more kids, but anything after 7 seems a little greedy to me.(Just kidding to all you large families out there!!!)

5.) I am eternally greatful to a loving and forgiving Heavenly Father for all my foolish blunders.

6.) I love to tease my kids. They secretly love it,though.

7.) I hate to cook, but my family loves to eat!!

8.) I hate to shop.

I know I'm supposed to "tag" someone, but I don't KNOW anyone except the person who tagged ME!!! So if you are reading this: You are officially tagged!! Sorry!! :)

Duct Tape or Super Glue?

Which works best to told together a mother's broken heart? Maybe it depends on how your heart has been broken. I have a story to tell.

I got divorced when my three boys were 11, 8, and 5. Divorce is hard on any child, but I think it was especially hard for my 11 year old. I was a stay at home mom who adored her children. And they adored me as well. But my unhappiness and selfishness caused me to act out in ways I would have never thought possible. I ruined my marriage and ruined my life. But God had his hand on me and I answered Him when He called my name, and my life was changed. But the pain it caused my children, especially my oldest has not yet healed, even after 7 years.

So that brings me to today. My son is living with friends now. He moved in with his dad three years ago, but since he turned 18 he has moved in and out of his dad's house 4 times now. His current girlfriend is a witch and worships pagen gods. My son says he does too. She also professes to be bisexual. We have told our son that we will not approve of this relationship. So he calls today and asks if he and his girlfriend, her sister and her live-in lover and father of her baby plus one on the way can come over to swim. (AHHHHH........NO!!!) But my heart is broken and I need encouragement. It hurts so badly for your baby to make such bad choices and you know deep in your soul that you can't bend on certain issues. I know God is in control and I have to continually place my son at his feet. Will you pray with me?

One More Flew the Nest

Okay, it's only for a week, but our 15 year old has run off to Mississippi. He's gone to a youth conference with our church. They took a big charter bus with another church in our area. I had to have some fun with him. They all loaded onto the bus and then someone remembered maybe we should pray for them before they left.( Being a CHURCH function and all!!! ) So they all filed back off the bus and I ran up to Brandon with my arms spread wide and yelled "You're back!!!!" I am a firm believer that it is my right and priveledge as a mother to embarass my children whenever given the opportunity. And I also believe that they secretly love it!!!

Hello Out There!!!

I am new to this whole blog thing, so you'll have to bear with me. I want to homeschool my girls and need all the help I can get. I have 5 boys in school right now, well sort of. My oldest is 18 and moved out, I am praying he will finish his senior year. Pray with me!!! I homeschooled him, well, on-line charter schooled him at home for 2 years and also bought my own curriculum for 1 year. Our 16 year old is in public school right now and has always been there. Our 15 year old was homeschooled for one year, then on-line homeschooled for two. We also have done public school and charter school with him. Next year he's starting in private Christian school. Our 13 year old has always been in public. Our 12 year old has been public, charter and on-line home schooled. Next year he will be going to private Christian school.  So if that isn't enough to confuse some of you, anger others and just make some of you laugh, or cry as the case may be. I need your help!! Seriously!! My girls are only 2 and 4, but I already know I want to homeschool all the way, baby!! Now I need to know how to do that!!! I covet your help and your prayers!!!
