How Dumb is This!?!?

Remember my 18 year old son? You know, the one living with friends?  And has no car? And has no driver's license? And no learners permit? And still needs to finish high school? And can't even brush his teeth without being told? And seeing a girl who is a witch? And bi-sexual? Yeah, that's the one. Well, he called me the other day and asked if he could come visit. Of course!! I love my son, no matter how stupid and irresponsible he is.

So, he comes over... Oh, wait, I GO PICK HIM UP, because remember, HE HAS NO CAR!! Anyway, he comes over, and guess what!!! He's getting married in three weeks. "Are you kidding?" you might ask. Well, no, do I LOOK like I'm kidding!?!? And he says to me, " She took a pregnancy test two weeks ago, but it was negative." Okay.

Ummm... I'm speachless, now. Oh wait, he also has until Friday to go see a doctor for a seizure problem he said he has when he went for a physical for a job, his first job, I might add. Or he loses his job. I don't think I mentioned that my son is a habitual liar. Guess he should think about how those lies may affect his future next time.

Ahh, someday well sit and laugh about all this won't we? HA HA HA HA HA

My word! ((hugs)) *sheesh* That was one big mouthful! I'm praying that you don't have anymore junk to hear/deal with today! Now, go fill up a bath with hot water, add Calgon and let it take you away, LOL.

Aug. 2, 2007 - Keeping you in prayer...

Posted by proverbsmomof3
sounds like you have your hands full. I have a 21 year old who seemed to be heading down the same road yours is on, but events have turned him around and things are looking brighter. He still has a ways to go but I continue to pray and give him up to our Father in heaven daily. I will remember your family in prayer. Thanks for having the courage to share your situation. Be strong. Blessings upon your life.

I am trying to figure out how I missed this post. I am sorry to hear about this. I hope things have improved since you posted. I will be praying for him but I will also be praying for you. We can teach our children but we can't make them learn. Just like you can take horse to water you, but you can't make him drink. Prayers go out to you and yours.
