Aug. 30, 2008 - On Edge
Everyone here is on edge right now. I think it is not knowing that drives everyone crazy. Should we leave or should we stay? If we stay where will we go? You certainly don't want to leave home and go straight into the path of a hurricane! If someone would just say, "It's coming your way, get our now, " it would be easier. Then you could just concentrate on leaving. So right now I am waiting for Gustav to get past Cuba and into the Gulf so we can decide what to do and then do it!

This has been the most unpredictable storm ever! Should we stay - should we go? Now that we're out, the question is -when do we go back? Of course, having a city official for a husband, he is chomping at the bit to go back. I, on the other hand, don't want to drive through Houston in the rain. That city fills up like a bath tub! Ya'll stay safe and I hope to see ya Friday.
