Fall in SE Texas
Rain continues to fall.
Leaves have not begun to fall,
Not yet,
Only wet.
Mosquitos whine and bite
In the warm, early fall night.
But somewhwere
In the air
The wind blows a gentle call,
Telling us it is really fall.
