Ironic that I put that scripture on the ol' blog the other day, because apparently the Lord wanted me to understand how seriously we are to take that particular verse.

Because sometime during the night of the 10th, unbeknownst to us, someone slipped into the house we've been moving out of and made off with about $5000.00 worth of our stuff....including our riding lawn mower, our rototiller, pretty much all of our electronics including a 35" TV that was less than a year old, our stereo, all the kids' PS2 games, all their Gameboy stuff, most of our DVD movies, my husband's big 5' tall Craftsman tool box and almost all of his tools. 

So.  Ahem. 

*breathing*

I am dying to self about, oh, every two seconds.  I pray, I'm good for about, yeah, two seconds and then I get mad all over again, and so I have to pray all over again.

My good friend "L" reminded me that we need to pray for the people who did this.  My pastor suggested that maybe this is something the Lord will use to bring them to Him.  My other friend "B" thought it was cool that there was nothing but christian CD's (including Clarissa Worley and Mercy Me) in the stereo (except one Laurie Berkner CD), so she thinks they will listen to them and be convicted of their sinfulness and come to the Lord.

My husband thinks we should hunt them down like dogs.

So do both of my brothers.

*cough cough*

I am conflicted.

*sigh*

I will blog more when I am less conflicted and have more to say about homeschooling.

I agree with the guys. There, now you know my fleshly nature.
What is WRONG with people? I mean, besides the obvious sin thing. Where does this sense of entitlement come from, that they can take what isn't theirs? It even carries over into relationships, with people taking partners who belong to someone else... I don't get it. Never will.
