Jun. 25, 2006 - housekeeping

This is my daily chores in my home.  I have tried to do the whole schedrul thing, and frankly it doesn't work,. I get frustraated and give up so I have  a checklist of accomplishments each day.  This works alot better in my home.lol

Daily Chores:

1. I clean up all bedding, roll up sleeping bags, make beds etc.

2. I clean the boys room up, I pick up all the toys, vacume, windex the window and spray with fabric refresher

3. Clean the bathroom:  Everyday, I spray toilet cleaner in the toilet, then I take a spounge and scrub out the tub, then I clear off the back of the toilet and windex it, then I scrup the sink clear it off adn wash out the cup that holds the toothbrushes, next I windex the mirror.  Now I scrub the toilet then I wipe it all down including behind it, and take a washcloth and wipe the whole floor, next I rinse out the dog dishes and fill them up.  Then I light a candle in it and leave.  This takes maybe 10 min

4. I then windex and dust the whole house.

5. I also mop the kitchen everymorning

Jun. 16, 2006 - Dancing, homeschool, and boys

I have decided a big part of my pe for school will be teaching my boys how to dance.  It is a skill they are going to have to know there whole lives.  Dancing is a way to woo a woman, everyone dances on there wedding day, and well most women love a man who can dance.  My husband is a wonderful wonderful dancer, he can whip me around the dancefloor like noones buisness.  And all I have to do is follow and trust, like in my marriage.

So I have been teaching them, so far I am teaching how to 2 step and 16 step.  It is a blast!  I have always danced with my children, when they where babies I would hold them close turn on the river and slow dance, it seemed to relax them completely.  As they got older we got silly, nothing is funner than jaming the radio adn dancing around cleaning the house and cooking.  It also is such great exercize.  It is a big part of our family.  Scott and I dance together all the time!  And I have always been into dancing!  I used to swing dance, and 2 step adn hip hop dance before kids, now i just 2 step.lol  I also love ballroom and I even took salsa nad belly dancing when Scott was deployed.lol

But dancing is such a HUGE part of being human, every country has there own form of dancing.  But this morning we turned on the country station and had a blast!  And hopefully in teaching them the basics of dancing, they will learn how to lead in a marriage and also how to be gentlemen.

Jun. 14, 2006 - ever dream of running away?

All my life I have dreamed of running away to a magical land, when I was a child I was going to run away and live in the woods behind my house and live like little house on the prairie or huck finn and see unicorns and fairies everyday.lol  Yep, you have no idea how many hours I spent being really really still on a log hoping to see a fairy or a unicorn.lol

Now as an adult I have those same dreams, except now I am going to be really really rich live on a farm in france and paint, as nannies do all the discusting jobs in my home.lol  When do I have this dream, generally on days like today.lol  Lets see I woke up to stepping straight into poop, my dog left me a wonderful present next to the bed, and I woke up wet because adam had climbed into my bed and peed on me, right as his diaper decided to leak!  Yep france sounds so nice, so I got in the shower, how come you only run out of hot water as you are rinsing your hair?  I got 1 and a half legs shaved before I realized I can't take it anymore. and jumped out.  I forgot to condition the hair so now it is a frizzy mess all over my head.lol  So then I head into the kitchen and make myself a bowl of ceral and a cup of coffee, the phone rings it is scott, so as I am balancing the phone coffee and ceral I trip, trying to save the coffee land straight on my face, seriously it was the first thing to hit the floor.  Then I realize coffee hot fresh wonderful coffee was all over me, so back to the closet I went to try to  change.lol  Then the boys are up, after hearing me yelp in pain from the coffee, and falling on my face so I make the ceral.  Somehow this upset king Jonah who thru a fit, the boy is not a morning person, and he threw the ceral at my face!  Stunned and upset I grab the child run him straight to the corner, spank him adn make him stand there, forgetting he has not gone potty today, so he pees all over me!  Literally, uhg, so I change him then I get my chance to go to the closet adn change my clothes once again then scrub the pee out of my carpet.  So as this is going on Clay informs me Adam stinks, not thinking I rip of the diaper, and the hard log which is inclosed flies out hitting the front of my shirt and rolling straight down to my foot, so I not only got to change a poopy baby but my now poopy outfit, fun times!  So then as I am changing my clothes, and telling jonah he is not to leave his room, I hear splash, somehow the ceral I just poured went straight to the floor, so I cleaned it up.  Then I got everyone settled and began to clean the house, as my husband walks in, questioning my unmatched outfit, crazy hair and the fact ceral now covers well the whole house, oh and we have a massive pile of laundry where he knew there was none when he awoke, I have 3 huge pet peeves, I can't stand laundry, dirty dishes or finger prints on anything.lol

So I get everything settled and clean the house, then I decided hmm it is lunch time, so I make romen noodles, I have to leave for a min, my kids decide to have a food fight!  Romen noodles everywhere!  Fun times, I cna tell you!  So I give in and begin to make them clean it up, so Adam decides to reach in his once again poopydiaper, pulk out a hunk of it and rub it on my dress as a sign hey I need a change, again!  Breath breath breath!  So my house is now silent, baby has had another bath and kids are clean, and they are in the process of cleaning there entire room from top to bottom, and I am wondering if I have to take my children as I run away to France.

Seriously motherhood is one of the most magical jobs one could have, but why does it have to be so GROSS!  And it is 2:42, no we haven't even done school yet and I know my husband is going to come in and say the house is trashed what did you do today, even though I ahve scribbed mopped vacumed everypeoce of my home today!  Oh and I forgot to say where I was during the romen noodle fight, I was scrubbing the crayon off my tub yes Jonah decided going to draw while going potty today!

My children are not normally this unruley though, I am not sure what happened today, trust me if this was an everyday thing I would have run away years from now!  But as I am cleaning the discusting things in my home I am in my mind on a farm is the south of france wearing white, and the kids are wearing white, eating peaches from our orchard.lol  And when they are done there clothes are still white!    I guess that is my happy place, oh and we are dancing and drinking wine and there is a team of people I can hand the dirty messes to and say fix this.lol  And there is no poop, nothiing poops anywhere and I ride a white unicorn.lol  OK I have to go vacume and quiet dreaming.lol  will romen noodle peices break the vacume>  HMMM!

Jun. 11, 2006 - dolphins

This weekend we went to the beach and we got some boogie boards!  So I was out boogie boarding with Jonah.  My husband suddenly yelled Lori look, and I looked over and not more than 50 feet from me where two grey fins sticking out of the water!  I about freaked out!  I was trying to catch the next wave in when they looked up and it was 2 dolphins!  WOW!  2 dolphins came up to tell me hello!  It was so neat, I still caught the next wave in though.lol

We had a wonderful time at the beach, we saw beach flea's which was neat considering we just read about them in burgess.  And we saw tons of crabs and fish!  My husband was attached by a huge blue crab.lol  As we where walking along the shore looking for shells.

Then we came home and crashed and the next morning we layed around and where lazy, then we built a fire and sat out and relaxed.  This area is more like a campsite than anything, tons of thed trailers are building fires at night, and the guy 2 trailers down is camping in a tent while he waits for his trailer to be finished.lol  It is pretty quiet also, and back in the woods.

We found out that Clay is no longer allergic to milk!  It was so much fine and wonderful!  We went out for pizza!  I cried as he ate  his first peice of pizza with cheese ever!  And I can buy convience foods again!  And ice cream!  We had lasagna for dinner tonight yummy!

Not that we are going to be living on junk but well sometimes it is nice to be able to buy something quick and easy!lol  And well buying butter and chocolate chips and buttermilk adn real milk!  Oh and cheese!   Plus bread he has been allergin to about 90% of the breads out there and well sometimes I don't want to make bread.lol

It is so nice!

Jun. 5, 2006 - forgiving myself

A few years ago, something dumb happened and basicly I was called a bad mother.  This has really affected me as  a mother and as wife.  It is so silly how the most retarded insignifigant things affect our lives.  But I have been mad at myself not the person who called me a bad mom since.

As I replay the activities of the day that happened that day I realize honstly I did nothing wrong,  And the person who did this was just a stupied insignifigant hateful person.  Who didn't even have children.  Did I do anything wrong that day, no, would I have changed anything I guess I wouldn't have panicked so much, but other wise no.  Is it something that happens all over the world to many children, yes it is.  Was it abuse or neglect, well no.  Infact I honestly did nothing at all wrong, there was no serious injury at all just to my soul and my heart.  And I need to forgive myself for what happened, I am not a bad mother, I honestly did nothing wrong.

I do not need to be a supermom, I can let that go now.  I guess as a mother we are constantly being judged by everyone around us, but you know, I need to realize I do not have to be perfect, my children do not have to be perfect incase someone decides I am not good enough at my role as a mother or a wife.  I am just doing the best I can, and that is all that matters.  But I don't have to have complete fear everytime we leave the house that someone will call me out as a failure, because I am not a failure.  The only thing I am failing in is my ability to relax and have fun.

I need to let go on these little insignifigant things in my life and forgivemyself for being human, that is what I am.  I am not God, and the only Judgement that matters is that of the Lords.  I need to quit worring about what others think of me and what my family and I need.  Who cares if the kids have a dirty shirt on or are outside being little boys, Who cares if my neighbors think, golly she is an awful mother for allowing her kids to play with sticks, bottomline I am not an awful mother, there are kids all over just being allowed to roam the neighborhoods and such.

I don't have to be perfect at all, and I am forgiving myself for that.  I have already forgiven the people who have hurt me, I have even forgotten what many loo like, but the words just stuck in me and I need to allow myself to heal.

I guess this is just silly to type out and post on my blog, but I know there are others with the same problems as me, many many mothers in the world in Fact, because as a society we want to constantly Judge and bash parents instead of appreciating the hard work we do.  Basicly we have made parents feel so inferior we feel the best thing to do for our children is send them away as early as possible so the "trained professsionals" can raise our children.  And those of us who do deside to say no, I can do this, and I am homeschooling etc, are picked apart so severly for homeschooling because we seem to be saying we are good enough to parent our own children.  A concept society has tried to brainwash from us for years now.

Jun. 4, 2006 - Adam's birthday

Well my baby is now 2!  It is so hard to believe he actually is 2 already!  We had a party for him Friday night at the house, with a bonfire, tons of kids and a pinata!  What else could a little boy want?  He got tons of wonderful presents, I got him a fancy wooden stacking block thing, and some wooden instrument, and a little stuffed plushy frog we named rubbit.lol  It was wonderful!

Then last night, saturday we decided to be lazy around the house and then build another little campfire and roast marshmellows in the backyard!  Yum Yum!

We also started Charlotte's Web, which I read to the boys around the fire!  Scott said it looked like a baby biker party, with the tricycles all around the fire, then the kids riding them all over the yard.lol

School last week was kind of simple, we got thru all the ambleside readings and we did 3 days of reading, writing and math!  We had company all week, so we didn't really have time and such!  But the kids did get to play with 4 kids all week!  So that was wonderful!  We had a blast as a family!

This week, we will just go back to normal!  Clay will be done with his first term eather this week or the next!  So he will be done with term 1 of first grade, when he isn't "legally" in first till next fall!  So I am pretty happy about that.lol  Just because this is my first child and the first homeschooler in eather family, so I know if I don't keep him a bit above the curve they get all weird.  Also I am not doing a normal school at home so it makes things a little diffrent.lol  But no fear, I will not sacrfice his happyness over it, we just started a few months before the other kids, and we are doing year round school because honestly it is no big deal at all.

Now Adam and Jonah really aren't in school yet, I will probley start preschool with Jonah in the fall when he turns 4 learning his letters and numbers and such.  But they all sit around and listen to the readings in school and such!lol  We finished the biography of benjamin franklin this week which was really neat!  I need to sit down and finish the tempest and we will be sitting pretty!

And this week I also need to pull out the wonderful HET and get it going!

Well gotta go and get ready for church.

May. 27, 2006 - fri may 27th,2006

Well we went to the beach today!  I was a blast when I get the time I will be posting pictures!  We went with some dear friends and had a complete blast!  We found a baby hammerhead that had washed up on shore, it was really gross but neat at the same time!  I mean a shark!  A hammerhead sharker!  That is kinda scarey when  you think about it, since we are there so much, swimming with the sharks.lol  We also found crabs, tons and tons of crabs and some sand dollars!  And some sort of mushroom in the sea.  It was really a blast!  I can't wait till we go back!

May. 25, 2006 - company

A few days ago a very very dear friend of mine was put into a pickle, I am so happy she came to us.  She came to town to see her dh, the army is messing with his paperwork, big suprize.lol  So she decided to come down adn help well, the guy she was supposed to stay with moved, but told them they could stay there, so they came here!  It has been a blast!  Her children are so adorable, I have a friend to visit with and our harbands are close.  So it has been great!

And very unboring 7 kids in the little trailer.lol  but I have been so busy this week, and having so much fun!  Scott has tommorrow off so we may do something then as a family.

I am trying to find a Douay-Rheims bible, but they are so expensive.lol  I am reading the king james at the moment, but it is not the same, being Catholic I really want a Catholic bible, but mine broke and I had this in the house.  I know not to big of a deal but the books are missing and those are some of my favorite books of the bible.  So I think we are going to go ahead and spend the money so I can have what I need.  Most Catholics don't read the Douay-Rheims anymore, but I gues most protestants don't read the KJV eather.lol  They want a more modern one.lol  I am a very old fashioned Catholic I like the Latin mass and such, so it is diffrent,.

My friend who is staying here is Jewish adn I am learning so much!  I love the old festivals and such, and so I am trying to add some of it to our own family.  Liek the Shabbat and such.  Also Jesus was Jewish, those are our roots, so I love studying it and finding it in my own bible  There is so much to learn, Christianity has such deep roots and there is so much to learn.

That is one of the nice things about being Catholic, there is so much depth I don't think I could study my whole life and even come close to understanding or knwoing most of it.lol  Being here in GA gets tough, because there are not alot of Catholics, which is so suprizing to me and people are SO prejudice to us, it really gets upsetting.  But I know they are not very educated on what we do believe and I just turn my cheek.  I do not worship Mary.lol  HEHEHEHE!  I get asked that all the time, and I am not pagan.   And the saints are not considered Gods.lol  I really laugh at some of the stuff they can come up with.lol  But I know they are good people who love and believe in Jesus, it is not there fault for the lies they have been told so I say a little prayer for patience and forgivethem and move on.  I fogive them for being rude and hateful people.  Because well it is rude and hateful.  I also get sad to see so many uneducated Catholics in the world that don't realize or even care what they are practicing and why.  I don't see how anyone could believe in God adn not completely devote themselves into learning all you can about God and worshiping him.  I mean if you truley believe then you would fear and want ot devote yourself to him, he is GOD!

Oh well this is getting to deep.lol

It just gets frustraitng if they don't like what I do or they have a question they  can ask or talk to me with out being rude, you now.lol  Plus I grew up in a Catholic NEighborhood, my church I have gone to all my life is 2 blocks from my home in KC.lol  I am a very very sheltered Girl.  There is a Cult here though, scott went to it on accident someone asked him to attend a service with him, So he did, he said the whole service began to be praying for my dh who was doomed and putting down every religion and everyone who did not attend the church.  I was like HUH?  He said everyone lives at the church, in 2 diffrent house, they seperate the women adn the men, it is scarey, I know so many soldier are away from home for the 1st time and young and the fact we are in the middle of a war and they are seeking ansers, it is just so sad.  They give them there whole check live there with no contact to the outside world and drive around trying to find people to convert.  It is just scarey.

Anyways, lol  I am trying to keep the kids together and cleaned up.   And I am just tired all the time.lol  I need ot get off of here and deal with my little ones.

Also DH found out another friend died while over there, another friend was walking thru the memory walk and saw his name on a tree.  I am needing to go down the walk and see all my husbands friends, he lost alot of them, but right now it is so hard, exspecially knowing he will probley be back this fall.

May. 23, 2006 - My hero!

So we went to the beach saturday it was so much fun!  I love going to the beach so much!  We found a million hermet crabs!  Then we found some seashells!  Then we found a spot off the island where you could walk out for ever and it never got deep,. and you could walk to other little islands with birds all over them!  It was so much fun!  We learned all about the birds!  It was such a blast!  I forgot the camera in the car, I am so bad about pictures, so oneday I will get it all together.lol

On the way home we passed a wreck so scott jumped out and helped a lady who had hit a pole, my hero at work, I am so glad we had the aidbag.  Scott needed to be a medic we are constantly passing wrecks, I am not sure why.

So I told the boys to stay in the car and went out and helped him, I help her hand and did the mothering thing while he started the assesment of the situation and another guy held her neck so she coudn't move it.  PEOPLE!  WHEN YOU PASS A WRECK DO NOT PULL THE PEOPLE OUT OF THE CAR AND IF TEHY GET OUT MAKE THEM LAY STILL, your neck could be broke and you wouldn't even know it, until you die.  Yes it can kill or paralize you.  So we sat there till the fire department came and an emt.  Scott was so funny, in his swimsuit, he looks at the cop and says, are you a first responder and the cop said huh?  Scott then said, I am a Medic at stewart and an EMT are you a 1st responder, the cop says no, and he responded we need an ambalance.  The poor lady was very scared, her neck was hurt and she was in alot of pain, When the ambalance got there I just stepped out of the situation and went to the car, they didn't need me or a specator and I would have been in the way, so I talked to the boys, about what was happening, and what had happened and what daddy was doing!  Homeschool at its; best again!  She was loaded up adn left and one of the firemen came up to me and said that medic belong to you, I said yep, he said, he is a good man!

The poor kid who saw the wreck adn sat there was so sweet also, he was so scared and did the right thing, saw the wreck stopped and called 911 and sat with her.  He said he didn't know what to do and so he started praying when we stopped. I hope she is ok, dh also called her family to tell them she was on her way to the hospital on base.  She was military.  But he is my hero!  That is his second wreck since we got here, both head on colisions.  Scarey!  I figure after being in war he can handle a wreck though.

May. 23, 2006 - the snake

So the neighbor called dh over, my dh is the redneck crockodile hunter.lol  They saw a snake, and my dh in all is oklahoma glory picked it up!  I am like honey what type of snake is it, so he says, I don't know it is dark, let me get to the light, it looks alot like a copperhead or water maccosin!  OK so I took a deep breath but I wasn't scared, is this normal?  I have seen the man handle to may deadly snakes in my lifetime.lol  I now know why steve urwins wife doesn't panick when he is jumping on crocks, it is like ok there he goes again.lol

So he gets it to the light and still has no clue so he tells me to get the cooler, so I grabbed the cooler and my comstock, I am not sure we ever truley figured out what type of snake it was, but we did figure out it wasn't poisinous, dh looked in his mouth and he didn't have teeth.lol  We narrowed it down to 2 diffrent types though, a gardner except it wasn't yellow and black and some other kind.lol  Anyways, so dh does a lesson right there at 9:00 at night on snakes.lol  Our neighbors where busting up, I just said this is homeschooling at it's best.lol  Update, DH told me he did identify the snake I was busy getting ready for the next day so I missed it, It was a 3ft long grey pilot.

My kids learned all about snakes then went home and they looked on the internet for hours and pulled out nature guides it was so cute!  Clay wants to be the crocodile hunter, so this is great for him!

Jonah and Adam are so interested also!   Jonah wants to be spiderman so we are having to talk to him about staying away from spiders because spiderbites do not actually turn you into spiderman.lol  I know in CM I am supposed to be doing a lesson in Comstock everyweek, but I think I am giving up on Ambleside nature study, we are using the comstock everyday, but not that way, we are finding way to many animals out here and at the beach so I am stopping the schedrulled lessons and going off what we see, which is fun considering we find something every day it seems.lol  And I am doing burgess on the seashore now and burgess birdbook..lol

We are more science literature based, it is so hard to get in the formal math adn reading.  I know reading is very important, but it is easier to read fun exciting stories and discover the woods, I am really going to have to get to working on the phonics.lol  Also Math, we do so much math a day, but not the book math if that makes since, I am constantly asking him questions the kid can add and subtract, and count so I am doing really well, but I guess the mainstream if he isn't doing worksheets I am not doing math gets to me, though, he flyes thru the worksheets like nobodys buisness, so we move to the next level and he flys thru those, so he is actually ahead in skill level.lol  So Iguess I shouldn't worry about it.lol  And he does know the basics in reading, he knwos the letters and the sounds, I just need ot force myself to sit down adn do school at the table.lol  I am turning into a cm unschooler.lol  If that is a real thing, we have books and we use them like crazy and we do schedrul I jsut have trouble getting to the table and doing school.lol  Then again I am homeschooling a 6 year old boy, who just turned 6 and supposed to be in kindergarten, so I think that is normal.lol  we would rather cound all the bugs we find and practice adding and subracting those than a silly book.lol

Scott seems ok with it, all the kids are out of school now and clay will be done with first grade about the time that all the kids his age are entering the 1st grade, so he seems ok.lol  When he comes home and clay tells him abotu the life of benjamin franklin or about the tempest, he seems impressed.lol  I am doing a good job, I just need to stop worrying about what others would think, because I don't have a packet of worksheets completed a week or tons of finshed workbooks.lol

May. 23, 2006 - mud pit

Yesterday the kids went next door to play with the neighbor, we just met them they seem very nice.  And they had a little pool and some how or another it got dumped into the dirt and we had a mud pit, my kids had a blast, they litterally caked themselves and us in mud!  It was so much fun!  Clay got a little to excited, I really need to work with him on that, He gets real excited and you lost him, he just goes nuts.lol

So then we hosed them all off and the kids washed all the toys and we went home, dh just sat there shaking his head adn laughing as I threw them each with clothes on in the tub, scrubbed them with there clothes on, then put the clothes straight in the washer and scrubbed them again.lol

I love the set up of this trailer!  I never thought I would say I like a little trailer more than my house, I have a really nice house, it set up is awful, but it is a nice house.  And I am spending the summer in a ran down cheep trailer on a very extended vacation.lol  I actually like the trailer more!  Here is the set up, the back door opens to the kitchen dining area, the washer is on the right and across from that is the bathroom, then down the hall is my room.  All the seperates the kitchen fropm the living room is a bar and off the living room is the boys room, so if you are at the table you can litterally see almost everywhere in the house.  So we went in the backdoor straight to the tub and I had to walk out of the bathroom and there is the washer!  So easy!  Ano if this happened in Kansas city, we would walk in the back door, then go thru the kitchen, the thru the dining room, and down the hall to the bathroom then I would have to walk back down the hall down the 1st set of stairs to the living room and then down the second flight of stairs to the laundry room!  If you are in the kitchen, all you can see is the living room because it isn't even on the same level as the living room!  So big huge diffrence!  It was ok when I just had a baby but 2 kids later, it isn't working anymore.lol  Maybe we can sell the house and live in the cheep trailer think of all the money I would save.lol  I think it would be diffrent, if I was in an area where noone lived in a trailer like Kansas City, but this is GA, off an armybase most people live in trailers, and if it wasn't for the fact I am out in the woods and have woods on two sides of it, plus being about 30 min from the beach doesn't hurt eather.lol   See that makes all the diffrence.lol

But soon we will build our own house in Oklahoma, on the farm and I will get to choose the set up!  That maybe delayed a bit longer than expected considering it should have been by the end of the year, and it looks like dh isn't going to be allowed out of the army, stoploss, but we will see.lol

Life is so exciting and I know God will always provide for me and my children!  I jsut hope and pray my husband is happy with whatever the future brings, it is easy for me to say, oh well, I am not the one who has gone and is probley going back to war, so I just pray God will continue to take care of him, and he doesn't lose his Scottness.lol

May. 16, 2006 - my legs feel like jello!

Ok so I am not as in shape as I used to be, I know that now.lol  Back in Highschool I ran atleast a mile a day, no joke, gennerally alot more, I was on the trach team, I took pe every semester because I liked it, I know I am weird, but I love to workout.  The Clay came, I was back on doing cindy crawford with in weeks, litterally as soon as the dr said ok, which was in 3 weeks, I was doing her abs section, because the sight of my tummy scared me, then by my 6 weeks, I was jogging again and doing the full workout, every other day!

Then jonah came, still working out like crazy till he was born and afterwards, when I was pregnant with Adam I still went running, I will nevber forget a Sergant on the track screaming, you see that pregant women over there the one about to pop, she is running faster than you all, step it up!  I had permission from my dr to workout, the only thing they cut was racket ball, for fear I would get hit in the tummy with a ball.lol

Then after Adam, I workout everyday at the gym, the only time I joined a gym, a personal trainer there by my side, trying to kill, me, when I was done, I woudl shower off grab the kids and head for the pool, and work them out.

Then Scott deployed, I refused to give in and did my yoga and tapes, then somewhere I got lazy, Not that I am bad but well not what I am used to, so I realized this when I saw myself in the mirror!  I about freaked, not that I am fat but lost all the tone I spent years gaining, so I am working out again, doing a 10 min a day workout on Candy's site, oh my I am so out of shape!  I hurt so bad!lol  I will I will I wil get back inshape, not the body I had at 19 bnut something.  I went from all organic, to raw vegitarian to fried chicken yum yum!lol  I am not going raw again or even all organic but I can do a few things to improve my diet, lots of fruit and veggies fresh fruits adn veggies are yummy and a huge salad every meal.lol

My dh is so excited, he told me he was getting worried about me, but didn't say anything.  He knows I love to workout, it is my time, mommy time, I don't take baths, I don't have time to read, or anything, but I do get up one hour before the boys and workout, it is mommy quiet time and i am to hyper to sit around and do nothing.lol  So I get up and workout, get out my frustration, when I am upset I run, and run adn run, Scott and I got in a fight once when I was pregnant I grabbed my running shoes and took off, I ran all the way across base, realized I couldn't even walk home, I had ran 6 or 7 miles, I was mad, so I had ot call him and have pick it up, but I don't remember why I was mad at him.lol  He picked me up with a power bar and gatorade.lol

He also loves to work out, you should see the boy run, and run and run, and he loves to go to the GYM, he does pt even when he is hurt or sick because he loves it.lol  So we are a match.lol  I don't care if I look good or not, that is not why do it.lol

But after 10 min I feel like jello!  HEHEHEHe, I have alot of work todo.lol

May. 10, 2006 - lizards ang graduations

Today in school was fun and exciting, we went to a WLC graduation for a few guys dh sponsered, the kids had a blast, and learned alittle about Army and life.  It was neat, there was a band I know Jonah enjoyed.

Then on the way home we saw a red headed woodpecker, which is an endangered species, so that was so neat!  The kids and I did part of a regular day and then pulled out comstock adn learned about them!

Then when we got home this evening we found a lizard and we are about to pull out the comstock again!  I will post pics later!

GA is a blast, so much to learn and see, the kids are so loving it here!  I plan on getting burgess by the seashore very soon adn doing that while we are right on the beach!

Apr. 10, 2006 - bad day

my bad day, ok today was not a good day.lol  I am moving, not really moving but going on a super long vacation, 6 months, and I can only take what fits in the van,  So I am going thru my house and deciding what I will and will not need for the next 6 months, ok this is stressful!

Then I am moving tommorrow, by myself, my dh is in Savannah already, so this move, all Lori, ok so the stress is adding!

Ok so today all my kids got the stomach flu!  Yep the day before I leave to drive across country they are sick everywhere!  Not fun at all!  I am still packing and well things just not good.

So then I had a bird commet sucide in my dining room, I say he commeted sucide because he could not have done what he did with out careful planning.  A little robin smacked into my diningroom window with enough force he blew out my screen and was in the window sill, Clay found him, the crazy thing is, one there is a basketball goal infront of that window, it is on wheels and sitting there.lol  And 2 he had to avoid the trampaline and all the trees, i don't really have a yard one can get much force in, lots of obsticles, adn 2 there is a very dirty screen on the window.lol  So a robin decided to pick my window to kill himself today, is that a bad sign?lol

3 sick kids, sucidal birds and the drama of moving, I am tired, I know I cna do this I knwo God is watching over me, I wish I knew his plan at the moment, but oh well, I am going to do the best I can do.  I am just waiting for all this to be over, but I think that the move will just be a transition to difficulties in my life and I am not really excited about that.  I like things the way they are, but I want to be with Scott but becoming a wife again after a long deployement if just sort of scarey.lol  I know it will all be ok, just deep breaths, lots of patience, and when all else fails nature walks!lol

Apr. 3, 2006 - Super Clay

My children where so good today I have to brag for a min!  Ok We will work backwards, I just had a dinner party for some friends of ours, we grilled steaks so not to bad on pots and pans, afterwards I got sick, I told clay I didn't feel well and asked if he could clean up the kitchen, clay is 6 he turned 6 in jan.  So I said if you do a really good job I wil give you a dollar, thinking he will clear the table a little maybe rince the dishes and maybe wipe the table off.  NOPE!  My kitchen is spotless, the boy did almost everydish, except the pots, because he isn't allowed to touch the stove, he wiped the cabinets adn counters, and wiped the table adn all the chairs, he not only sweeped but also mopped the kitchen.  And not only that he wiped the fridge and put away the food.  The kitchen adn dining room where cleaned.  I about cried, and was so proud to give him that dollar!

Then today we went to chinese with a friend, can you tell I am moving and everyone is saying good bye.lol  So we went and they where very well behaved not perfect but compaired to normal really good.  When my friend was leaving I gave a few foods from the deep freeze, Adam insisteed on carrying the basket full of food to the car with my help.  Jonah today watched adam like a hawk adn helped him on and off the trampaline.  Now each kid did have there moments they are children but I was so amazed.  The more I treat and picture my children as little people the more amazing they become.  I know duh children are people but well it is hard to remember that my little one year old has the same thoughts frustrations and pains I do, my 6 year old gets upset and hurt and it is ok, I have my moments adn they should be intitled theirs.  No I am not a gentle displining parent, not in the least, there are rules they know what is expected but the more heart strings we tie the more I try to know my children the more I talk with them and sit with them the harder they work.  And I am developing a true respect for there thoughts, I just never realized those little babies would grow up so fast.  I remember taking clay home adn putting him in a crib and thinking this is way to big for him he will never grow into it, and now he is cleaning the kitchen because his mommy is sick.

Mar. 29, 2006 - weird day

Well today was a wierd day, kinda stressful and interesting.  Scott Graduated WLC!!!!  Woohoo and called me saying I want you here now!  I was kinda confused and like WHAT?  And he said I can't do this anymore I want you here now.  So I told him ok, I will see what I can do and I began to pray and pray and pray, and it camed to me, I need to move to Savanah now, I am supposed to be his helpmeet and my man needs me.  So I called him back and said when can you get a place for us, and he told me by tuesday. SO I said ok, and prayed somemore and decided I am moving wensday!

Here is the catch since I am just moving a few months, I am not selling the house and all that, so I can only take what will fit in the van, with 3 children, 2 in car seats.lol  So wish me luck there.lol  I have made a list of things ranked by importance so I will pack in that order and when I run out of room I am done.lol

This is going to be so difficult I never realized how materialistic I really am, no swing set, no beutiful house, No bikes, no tv.lol  But all will be ok.  I trust in God.

I think this week I will play are hymn over and over again we are learning in School, Trust and obey.lol  Also we are officially on spring break, we are taking a 2 week break from school.lol  To move.lol

I am praying Scott leads Scott to finding a decent place in our price range and we are going to be so broke now, paying 2 rents.  But it is just till Oct.  Then we really will be broke, scott will be out of the Army.lol  I know God has a plan for us and will show us where to go and will take care of us.  He always has.  It may not be top of the line but he always has a plan.

I am going to the thrift store this week to buy some new dresses before I move, And to get the kids a few things, since we won't have a washer and dryer for a while.  I am hoping to find a cheep washer somewhere, A dryer is not a neccessity, it is nice to have but well clothes dry easily, I am more worried about diapers, I wonder if you can take cloth diapers to a laundry mat?  I hope I can I am not washing them by hand.lol  Sorry, I will change them, make them soak them, and hang them on the line, but I draw the line and hand washing them in the tub.lol  Unless I absolutely have to, and there is not other choice.lol  I know my great grandparents did but they are alot braver and stronger than me.lol

I am hoping we can find things like a bed, table and  washer pretty easy, I can live with out anything else, but I really don't want to sleep on the floor very long.lol

This is going to be a vacation an extended vacation!  I am just so happy to have a husband again, it has been way to long!  I need my husband by my side, I know I can do it on my own I did the whole time he was in Iraq, but well we made it we survived it and now I don't want to do it anymore.lol

He is going to be in school full time and working so we won't get to see him much, but you know 5 min a week is more than I have had in 19 months now, so I think I can handle him never being around.lol  Also We will be by the beach, this will probley be the last time I am around the beach for a while, or going really anywhere, so I am going to enjoy it!

I made Scott promise and I also promised we will not complain or anythign about this move it has to be a positive experience, so I am not complaining just trying to put into words all that is in my mind.  I am so happy!  In a week we are going to be a whole family again!  Do you have any idea how wonderful that is! I won't be doing it alone anymore!  I won't be alone anymore!  I am going to have a husband again!
