• Dec. 29, 2006 - Late Period!!!

Okay so I was expecting my period 3 days ago...and nothing! Hoping maybe a baby? I'm ready...all my friends have little ones and holding my 5 month old niece lately has got me wanting another baby. My little one is 2 years old now.

I have been anxious about buying a pregancy test right away as soon as my period is late, my hubby said to hold off....well, I listened and held off until today, what a sweetie...he came home with a test....took the test and it said Negative!!! what??? I thought for sure we were pregnant...my face has broken out like my other 2 previous pregnancies and i have been cramping for about 2 days on and off now.

I usually get my period like clock work...I of course was a bit dissapointed, my hubby had also thought i was pregnant....but know that the lord knows the right timing... So I am awaiting for my period to arrive.....

Well...sometimes, if it's early enough, it can give a false negative.......you never know....(not to get your hopes up or anything!) :) I'm going a bit test happy lately. I've not started my period yet since having baby #4 who is now 16 months old and still nursing. The baby boom of all my friends seems to be happening, so I guess I'm waiting to turn up pregnant. Pbly won't really happen, but I'd be thrilled if it did.

Remember that God's timing is not always our timing, sometimes we have to wait. It helps to build patience, which we all need a bit more of sometimes.

(((Juliet))) I know the disappointment! It's even harder when being late pratcially equals being pregnant for you. Give it a few days & test again if you still haven't started. Maybe it wasn't sensitive enough??

If you have a Dollar Tree store near you, their new choice tests are only $1 and can detect at 20miu

I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is to see those negatives. I had a hard time conceiving my 2nd, and when we wanted a 3rd, those times I'd wake up and had started were heartbreaking. I pray God blesses you in His timing. I enjoyed reading your testimony. Thanks for adding me to your friends list. I was just reading an article this morning of a trip that I took to Chicago when I was in 10th grade. (Acutally, my husband went too, but we were just aquaintances at the time). I lived in MS then, so that was a huge trip for all of us "country people"! We stayed in the Conrad Hilton down by the lake. That was the most exciting thing I'd ever done. We went because the symphonic band I played in was chosen to play at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic. Anyway, enough of memory lane. We are actually hoping to see if we can work in a trip to Chicago this summer. My oldest has been wanting to go for a long time.
