Dec. 25, 2006 Merry Christmas Nov. 6, 2006 Its been a while
so heres an update... things have been chaotic... we have finally settled in and have a good sysytem going again. I need to get a scanner to post more stuff... but Jacob and Quinten are doing well with their school work.. Abigail has her days but since she is not even 4 we let her pick and choose..Isaac is learning his letters, but still lilkes F M and V.. LOL
Its getting hard to keep up with all 3 at once.. I try to coordinate their lessons, but its not all that easy somedays... I could teach all the kids the same lesson pretty easy.. but teaching 3 grades at once is starting to confuse me :)

Jul. 31, 2006 Homeschooling lessons
Jacob has been working on learning his states and capitals.. he has started multiplication, learning planets and is reading Mrs Frisby and the Rats of NIMH..
Quinten is learning phonics and is doing well with addition and subtraction...we will start studying tree leaves this week
Abigail is working on letters.. I think she will be ready for K this year...

| They made it there and all is well... Kids were glad to run around... Everyone spent the day unpacking and meeting up with old friends.... I am anxious to get up there....

As I am missing my kids, my husband and annoucing that we are expecting our 6th  child in December, I get a phone call today from someone I barely know and was informed of her concern of the tax burden she will suffer by my large family..... WOW!?
Any how kids are handling the trip quite well.. The oldest (7yrs) has his notebook and has been taking notes of the trip.. I am not sure what he is writing-- can't wait to see it--- but as he is a calender fanatic-- he always knows the date ie--- Friday June 2nd 2006-- etc. ! He keeps asking my husband what the date is.... I guess the trip messed him up... LOL....

| Well my sister in law has a homeschool site as well so I will try to keep this updated.. My kids are learning geography this week as they are driving from Texas to Maine for a BIG family move... I will go at the end of the month... Wow what a change!!!

This is my entry. We are a homeschooling family. I have a full time business and my husband is the homeschooler. We have 5 children Jacob 7 Quinten 5 Abigail 3 Isaac 2 and Zachary 5 months. We are eclectic/unschoolers. I am going to try to figure this blogsite out and add more when I know how.....Any tips??
