Well, I was trying to keep both blogs going, one for blogging the other for photos and such for family and friends. I hardly had time to keep up with the other blog, I don't know what made me think I could do two. So I am going to try to combine the two of them.

Well, this week I am trying to get on a schedule with school,housework and just everyday things. It has been kind of hard up to this point since we have a new baby in the house. But it is getting better now that Sarah is a little older. Any advice on homeschooling with a baby, will be greatly appreciated!!

The week before last we started learning the Presidents in order and this week we plan to learn the next five. We have been using this really great website to do this, and the girls have learned so much already. I have also added in a daily reading time for Emily. Right now she is working on the Little House books, but I am thinking about switching her over next week. We hope to finish up our addition fact cards this week and start on subtraction next week.

I thought for my first entry on this page I would introduce myself.

I am Michelle, wife to David for 10 wonderful years. We have 3 little girls

Emily (7) Audrey (5) and Sarah (3 months)

I also have a "photo" blog set up for family and friends. I decided that I would give actual blogging a try, since I enjoy coming here and reading other blogs.  So I created a new Weblog just for that. (I will be posting pictures here as well.)

Right now I am up in the air about what to do for the "06-'07 school year. We are currently using workbooks, I think next year I want to get back to unit studies and take more of a CM approach to teaching.
