If you are in a tight situation financially.  You should check out this link.  This organization will get you materials for free.  All they ask is that you either get it back when you are done or pass it along FREE to another homeschooling family.

I have not checked them out but it seems legit and would encourage anyone to take a look.  Be sure and check them out before sending money.  But it sure can't hurt to ask for materials!

We're doing fine this year, but in years past that would have been cool! I'm going to pass this on to a friend though. :)

Just in case anyone wants to know, Book Samaritan is legit. I go there about three days a week to organize and send out books. I homeschool my four children, and I wouldn't be involved in anything I thought was underhanded in any way. You are welcome to come by and check us out anytime. Our address is on the website.

I have been trying to open the link to Book Samaritan and it comes up nothing. Could you possibly let me know if the group is still available? I would really appreceate it.

Sincerely

When I did an online search for Book Samaritan in OK, I couldn't find the actual link, but I did find a link to your blog. Do you know by any chance if it's still in operation or not? I have a box of books to donate if they are still functioning as a ministry. I don't know if I'd find my way back to your blog, so if you don't mind, could you email me with your answer? doublevision@wwdb.org
Thanks & God bless.

I have found a current link for The Book Samaritan. It appears it is no longer operated with a regular website. The link I found is for a Blog for The Book Samaritan. It is http://booksamaritan.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Hope that helps those who were wondering & looking for a place to either donate to or request used curriculum from. God bless.

The thoughts and reflections of a mom who loves being at home, and is doing all she has ever desired in her life..... Really... I love my life that much!

"And all thy sons shall be taught of the Lord, and great shall be the peace of thy sons.
In righteousness shall thou be established."
Is 54:13-14
