Hello Everyone! My name is Naomi. I am a 26 year old wife of 8 years and a mom to two beautiful girls. They are 8 and 2. This is our first year to homeschool. My oldest daughter is in the third grade. I have wanted to homeschool since my daughter was about 4 but my husband really thought that a public education was the best way to go. Thru alot of prayer and God really speaking to my hubby we pulled our daughter out of public school three weeks after the school year started. We have never been happier. Do not get me wrong it has been very hard and we are still trying to get used to it but to watch my daughter learn more and more every day is so awesome. The one thing that is so awesome is that she is so excited that she can learn everything thru a christian view. She never new that was possible. It is awsome.

Posted by I have 2 Yahoo Groups, one is called Ambleside Girls the other is In Beauty and in Grace. I have publicized Ambleside Girls and a little conversation goes on there now and then but not much. The other group, In Beauty and in Grace I have not gone public with yet. It is really the one I am the most passionate about. RIght now I am just uploading a lot of the links to websites I use and incorporate into our homeschool curriculum.
As for books, well, let's just say I worked for Barnes & Noble for about 5 years. I can definately hook you up with some good books but that's probably more than I could list here.
