I have read In the Footsteps of Paul by Ken Duncan. Thomas Nelson sent me this book to review and see what I thought about it. Well, first of all, I received a beautifully detailed hardbound book about the Apostle Paul’s journeys. The photographs that are included are from Ken Duncan’s actual experiences as he traveled to places that Paul traveled as listed in the book of Acts. The pages are very thick, which allows the photographs to not bleed through to the next page. Your focus is directly on the page you are looking at.

Mr. Duncan includes comments such as “Paul would have traveled down this road…”; “Paul is believed to have spent time in this area”; and “Paul would have carried similar amphoras on his journey” as well as other explanations, in order to be as precise as possible. Since he wasn’t alive in Paul’s day, he did the best he could based on Scripture and history. He also includes various Scriptures throughout the book, along with paragraphs or phrases from other Christians such as Beth Moore, John Piper, Rick Warren, just to name a few.

I recommend this book to anyone who would like to visualize walking with Paul.
