Ephesians 5:15-16 says "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Now...I know that the verse speaks of watching how we live and using our time wisely to share the gospel, etc. But I believe that it applies to family life as well. Sometimes as homeschoolers we can get so bogged down with math, phonics, Latin.....whatever it may be, and thinking "Oh, I have to get this done and then we have to do that..." While it is true that we do have to work diligently at teaching our children both acdemics and Godly character, sometimes it's nice to just enjoy them as children! So that's what I've been making more of an effort to do lately. Instead of always being to busy to do things with them because I have clean this or plan that, I have purposed in my heart to do more of the fun stuff that mothering requires! We will never get these moments back and one day when they are all grown, we don't want to be left wishing we would have spent more time with them......time doing something other than drilling math facts and Latin chants! So here are some pictures of our days lately. Monday we had wonderful spring time weather here in NC and we took advantage of it!
