Dirty Laundry Assignment #8
Planted in Blooger Friend School

Wow, my dirty laundry, that could be more then you want to see! ;) We have a small closet like area that is our laundry/pantry/storage closet. Doesn't make it always neat ( especially when you have five little girls helping) but it works well for me though.

We have friends who are very hurt by harmful scents so we use Tide, Downey, (unscented), Spray -n- wash, and Javex Bleach for all those white socks that get worn in the dirt and rock driveway! I always have laundry to do, it never ends. But the thing that drives me crazy about laundry is finding folded clean clothes that were never put away! I do all of the laundry unless I can convince my oldest to help with the ironing, but the girls all help put it away ,hence the folded clothes that never saw the dresser ;) This is me pulling my hair out! I have never made my own soap I don't think I would really want too, but I would like to make homemade bath soap if anyone has any ideas........
Dirty laundry in my life..... How much time do you have? I think the thing I deal the most with and have a hard time with is fear. I struggle alot with fighting fear, and I don't always win :( I have a great husband who loves me and prays for me. But I think alot comes down to my unsaved childhood that was pretty rough. I had to be in control of things a little girl should not have to be , for that reason I think that God has allowed this fear in my life for me to give Him control and I struggle daily with giving Him that control. But I still keep trying!
2 Timothy 1:7 ~ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but if power, and of love, and of a sound mind. ~

when the clean, folded clothes make it back to the launry unworn also. Great Scripture to lean on in those times of fear.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I can empathize with the laundry thing. Just two days ago, I found dirty laundry in clean laundry in my daughter's room. Needless to say, we are having to rewash about 4 loads of laundry!!!!!!!! We had to have a discussion about how we don't put dirty laundry with the clean laundry. My daughter is old enough to know better. I explained to her that by having mixed both together and having to re-wash many of her clothes, it costs us more money. I hope that this doesn't happen again.
As far as fear goes, wow - I know what you're dealing with. I, too, have had struggles with fear. God has brought me a lot of deliverance in that area but I still have remnants of it that I am working through. If you get a chance, check out my testimony on my ministry site at:
http://www.deeperimpactministries.org/aboutthisministry.htm
I talk about my struggle with fear there. God does not want us living in fear. I am determined to work through those remaining remnants left from that struggle.
Take care,
Karen

Fear is a definite humbler. I am hounded with anxiety and panic attacks. I don't know if your fear is the same as mine, but I know where you're coming from.
Also, I shipped your bracelet off today. The latest it should take to get there is 10 days, but hopefully it will get there sooner than that. I would love to know when you get it and if it's sized ok. Thanks!

I'm here.. and yes, I've signed you up as my friend... though I still can't get my friends page to work.. but you're on my list!
I have friends who can't come to my house because I have pets. One son is deathly allergic, sad, but I know it's best for my friend to protect her children, so we'll have to go to her.

Folded clothes that never saw the dresser. I'm not the only one! Did you see the comic at the top of my blog about that?
Thanks for your visit!

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your email! We live not too far from Blackpool - I can remember going there for seaside holidays when I was young - we may take our son there to see the "Lights" this year (depending on how things go!).
Have a great week,
Chrissy

What a great verse to meditate on. Power, and a sound mind!
So you know about the clean clothes being placed back into the dirty laundry too huh? Oh that one of my pet peeves too. Why is it that the laundry never ends? When you can find the answer to that....pleas, please do share.
Have a great weekend.

Beautiful verse. I'm going to print that one out for my daughter. She's currently dealing with fear issues (Daddy is deployed in Iraq), so I'm always gathering these for her. Thank you for sharing your heart.
