leafed in thankful

I have to start this story on Friday, even though it really takes place yesterday. My hubby works in the construction field, on Friday they were rained out and he came home with a new microwave for me. This is big! Many of you don't know how very careful my DH is concerning money. But he saw a need and filled it for me.  To make up the lost hours on Friday he worked a half day on Saturday.

Now I once in awhile get really bad migraine headaches. Saturday was one of those days. I was home sick, hubby was working and I was in bad shape. To top it off we were having special meetings at church that night and were to bring some kind of finger foods to share. I made some melting moment cookies, and hubby called. He said that since we had a really busy day he was bring home some fish sticks and fries. Now at this point yoou need to know that we have a budget. We stick to our budget, as close as possible.  On Friday I  had been given a microwave. This offer to bring something home that would be quick and easy was just an extra blessing. He did this without knowing I had a headache.

Once he got home he put me to bed, I was having a hard time functioning at this point. My girls stepped in and made cupcakes (thank you Hannah) and cleaned up my house. I just wanted to say what a wonderful blessing it is to have such a great family. It makes me want to sacrifice all the more in serving them when they are so willing to step in and help mommy in time of need.

On another note church service was really good and I an happy I was able to go! Looking forward to tonight! God Bless!
