Blogger Friend School #18

Now this is an interesting assignment. I sat down to do it and the power went out. So I thought for awhile before the power came back on and realised I had only ever wanted to do one thing with my life. Even as a young girl (about 10-12) I dreamed of meeting my prince charming and getting married and having a family to raise.
I would often sit and draw out what kind of a home we would have. I would sketch out appartments, 2 level appatments, houses. all kinds of possibilites. There was always three bedrooms because I had planned on 2 boys and 2 girls. I guess God wanted that part different for me. I never dreamed of really going out to work, just be a good mommy and love my hubby.
God has given me that and so much more. I was lost when I had these dreams, but God made them a reality. After first giving me the gift of salvation. He then gave me the best man for me. He is caring, loving, firm, soft, strict, carefree (at times) and always willing to do what he needs to do for his Lord and his family. God has richly blessed us with 5 beautiful children, more then I dreamed of. He even gave us a house.
It's funny you know, I went to college because it was expected of me, and God used that for me to meet my hubby. In this day and age it is very hard to live on one income, but God again provides all our needs. I am so happy to look back and see where God has brought me from to where God has brought me to. Many people think we could be doing much better, but I know that God has a plan and I try, even when I stumble to trust His plan and trust Him for all we have.
I had to come back and edit this, I realised I had two other dreams, one was to be a teacher, hello here, I do homeschool the other was to write a book, Maybe someday.

Well, I was a teacher for a long time - homeschooling is so much more fun!! I've also been told that I should write a book about my health issues - maybe?
