Joann at Bunkhouse Sewing would like to encourage you to do so as well. She has a book called Stitches & Pins, which is a beginner sewing book for girls by herself and Corrie Gagnon Berneking. She has donated a copy of this book along with Sewing & Growing with God's Word, which is a devotional to giveaway to one GGM reader. There will be two winners. First place will receive the Stitches & Pins and second place will receive the devotional book. The seamstress in my family would be me, although I am far from good. I try to do my best and fail alot, but I keep plugging along! I am excited to get a home ec course from Christian Light that enables me to teach my girls to read patterns and do simple projects. I am looking forward to doing this with them. I used to watch my Aunt sew and always wanted to make things like she did. I hope I can instill that same desire in my girls. Wouldn't it be wonderful to win and have this to help my girls learn a love for sewing!
