OOOHHHHH!!!!! I love this! I love to cook and bake! And I love Fall! I love the changes that come with fall and the how we switch to from bbq (even if it is good) to the more traditional things like soup and casseroles, roasted meats and baked potatoes! Oh the smells that come from the kitchen!!!

There are so many things that I love to cook and bake! And I love to try new recipes. I can't wait to see all of your recipes to get some new ones to try.
One of my absolute favorites to make on a cool day is chilli and cornbread.
brown 3 lbs. of ground beef in 1/2 cup of vinegar and a 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Add 1 cup of chopped onions and cook through. Place in your slow cooker and add 2 28 oz. cans of diced tomatoes and two cans of kidney beans . Also two cans of sliced mushrooms. Salt and pepper to taste and chilli powder. to taste I usually use about 4 to 5 tsp. Do not drain the cans add everything. and serve with cornbread or garlic rolls. Yummy!

I love to make soups, but I never use a recipe. My favorite to make is chicken and vegetable soup, but I make it from my head. I boil chicken legs, usually 3 or 4, and save the broth. I then add turnip, carrots, onion, potatoes, sometimes celery. I add salt and pepper and tear up the chicken to add. I do use my secret ingredient, knorr chicken concentrate. This too I serve with warm rolls.

Another soup I like that is a bit spicey is Mulligatawney soup. It is a Indian curry soup. Use your broth from two chicken breasts, cooked with no salt and no skin. Cut up chicken. Saute 1 apple cubed with no skin in 4 tbsp. of butter. Add one cup chopped onion and 1 cup chopped celery. Add one cup chopped carrots, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp curry powder, 1/2 tsp. ginger. Add enough water to cook veggies, but not mushy. Add chicken stalk to mixture. add one can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes and 1 can tomato sauce. Add cut up chicken and 1-2 tsp. lemon juice. Let simmer 40 min before serving.

Combine as you would a cake and put into a greased pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup ugar combined with 1 tsp. cinnamon. and bake at 350 for 40 min.

Chocolate pudding cake.
Combine 1 cup of flour with 1/4 tsp. salt, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 2 Tbsp. cocoa and 1/2 cup of milk heated with 2 tbsp of melted margarine in it. ans 1 tsp of vanilla.

Place 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, 3 tbsp.cocoa, 1 cup hot water. Combine well and bring to a boil. Pour gently over cake and bake for 25 min at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream.

And last but not least a favorite cookie recipe
