leafed in Ponderings

For Today... October 20, 2008

Outside my Window...there is a heavy frost all over the ground, the huge maple trees outside the window have just started to turn colours.

I am thinking... about the girls who just left to bike to the dentist and are hoping they dressed warmly.

From the learning rooms... the younger three girls are doing pace work and I am getting stuff ready to start a new lapbook.

I am thankful for... good friends, a wam home and a husband who works hard to provide for us.

From the kitchen... cream puffs in a pan. baked ribs and mashed potatoes, company tonight. Maybe some cinnamon rolls and some cookies.

I am wearing...a brown jean skirt, and a brown, pink and yellow striped sweater.

I am reading...the epistles and still waiting for some new books

I am hoping...our van gets fixed or we get a new one.

I am creating... the same things, haven't had much time. A baby blanket, a shawl, a blanket for our bed and am itching to get some cross-stitch in.

I am hearing...the pellet stove humming and keeping us warm, and my girls talking as they do school work.

Around the house...I am anxiously waiting to see what things will get done before Christmas, we haev new floor to lay down, new windows to put in and lots of apinting to do. Maybe even a new heardboard for our bed.

One of my favorite things...snuggleing with a warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate and a good book.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...school work, look at a few vans to see if we can buy a new one.

We went on a field trip to a furniture making factory and they let the kids all did into a nwe box of mints for a treat.
