Simple Womans Daybook

leafed in Ponderings

For Today October 27, 2008

Outside my Window... the rain is now just a drizzle, last nights wind has taken many leaves off of the trees and has covered the ground with orange, red and yellow. It is very mild for this time of the year.

I am thinking...of how tired my body is today. Very little sleep for two days and poor in spirit this morning.

From the learning rooms...going over some tests and mistakes, some math and organizing projects for the month of November.

I am thankful for...my husband, my best friend. I really don't know what I would do without his love, compassion and care of me.

From the kitchen...roast beef, mashed potatoes, baked squash, gravey, biscuts, chocolate layered dessert. That might be all.

I am wearing...a brown t-shirt and a black skirt.

I am reading...not much, I am waiting for some books my hubby let me order.

I am hoping...for a stress free day , what do you think mt chances of that are ;).

I am creating...all of the same things, I really need to get them done.

I am hearing...the children heating up cinnamon rolls for a breakfast treat before school.

Around the house...the never ending laundry pile beakons to me, also a friend is coming for supper so that I cancut his and my hubbys hair after supper.

One of my favorite things...cheesecake.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...My hubbys birthday, looking at vans and figuring out if we want to buy or fix. Doctors appointment on Wednessday, maybe some sleep.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Some of the last of the leaves before winter really starts to set in.

Psalm 19:1

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

What a beautiful photo!
I'm sorry to hear you are out-of-spirit today. I will be praying for you.
I can relate to the never ending pile of laundry. And though it never seems to end (or even lessen) I am thankful we have so many bodies in our home to make all that laundry and I find enjoyment in praying for our family as I wash, dry, and fold their clothes. ;o)

I hope you enjoy your week!

I mentioned that never-ending laundry pile once before this morning... seems to be a universal thing, especially on Mondays!
Hope you feel better soon!
Have a great week....
