Ecclesiastes 1:13-14

And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven; this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith. I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

Assignment: We only have today. Should God take you today, have you accomplished everything that you wanted to, needed to. Have you said all the things that needed to be said?  Let’s have no regrets, let’s make sure we get to those things, so that when we’re standing before the Lord, the only thing we need to do is to worship him.. and not regret not getting to that thing on our to do list. Stop - go take care of that thing…. then, come tell  us what you choose to share. Don’t embarrass yourself or any of your loved ones

The only regret I will have is to stand before my King and have to explain why my children were not brought up to love and follow Him! My most imortant goal in life is to guide my children and be a witness to them in my daily life that I might be able to stand before the throne and say "Lord I have done my best".

It is God who enables and guides. But to do my best I must be close to Him. If I am not striving to be close to Him and to know him, why would my children.

Train up a child in the he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
