For Today... November 24, 2008
Outside my Window...thereis over two feet of snow on the ground. More snow is gently falling and the scene is very peaceful!
I am thinking... about gettng school tied up in the next three weeks for Christmas break. We have lots of things planned in the next few weeks.
From the learning rooms... school pace work and some work on butterfly lapbooks and Christmas traditions in Europe for the older girls.
I am thankful for... all the hard work my husband does around the house. He planned to replace some windows this weekend and the snow stopped that, but he worked on laying more floor. Two rooms are now done upstairs.
From the kitchen... I made up a shepards pie from leftovers yesterday. I added the carrots and peas to the gravy and cut up the leftover pot roast, and stirred well and added the mashed potato on top. Yummy!
I am wearing...My warm nightdress and a house jacket, it is still early here.
I am reading...One perfect gift by Kathleen Morgan.
I am hoping...to get things done and be able to put up our tree today.
I am creating... christmas baking for the freezer.
I am hearing...my children getting ready for the day.
Around the house...I am getting the house ready for Christmas.
One of my favorite things...a beautiful Christmas tree all done up with the soft glow of the lights in the living room..
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...start finnishing projects and pace work for christmas.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
