For Today... December 1, 2008
Outside my Window...the snow is almost gone, the grass is green and the temperature is expected to hit 15 degrees (or almost 60). the rain is falling and it is just a dark dreary day.
I am thinking... all the things I need to do today, corrections, organize finished tests, laundry, etc....
From the learning rooms... pace work, work on our butterfly lapbooks and the projects on Europe for the older girls.
I am thankful for... my hubby, who gently leads me and encourages me all the while making me feel like a queen.
From the kitchen... rice and chicken casserole with homemade buiscuts, need to make cookies for a homeschool christmas party.
I am wearing...black skirt and a pumpkin coloured sweater..
I am reading...just finished The Paperbag Christmas by Kevin Alan Milne, come back this week and check out the review. Now I am starting Keeping Holiday by Starr Meade.
I am hoping...get some extra baking done today.
I am creating... not muh, just tying to get some Christmas stuff done.
I am hearing...my children opening their christmas calenders.
Around the house...tending to my littlest that just got sick, and doing school work with all of the other girls..
One of my favorite things... christmas lights. I love to see christmas lights everywhere.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...homeschool christmas party, school work and regular around the house stuff.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
