Teaching with God's grace

Do you ever feel called...

I have been called crazy, weird, a nut and blessed all for the same thing - My love of children. Yet honestly, I just can't imagine a greater calling.

I am so rewarded daily - a kiss from the child who was mad at me minutes ago, a sentence from the child we were told would never talk, a loving gesture from my sweet innocent 13 year old, being called mama...What greater blessing could one ask for?

I haven't written in quite a while due to all my children. We are currently raising 7 and waiting for our 4 newest children to be able to join our family. (State paperwork - UGH!) At present we have 4 legally ours and have had for over 2 months now (with the exception of about 1 week total) our 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Yes it is crazy at times, but whose life isn't?? I mean I don't have to rush out the door to be at work. I don't have to dress up, just get dressed :) I don't have to buy lunch out - unless my husband and I sneak a lunch date in at McD's while the kids roam the tubes.

What could be more romantic than to look into your true loves eyes and see the pride of and in his family. I honestly think he looks pretty darn good wiping noses :) I mean the love for us radiates from him...YOOHOO!!

Yes I am a bit crazy for my kids... a bit weird over how much I care about how they are and what they are doing... I am a whole lot of nuts over my family, but that is ok as we all live on the same tree... But I am a huge amount of Blessed!!
