Well, the paperwork after 5 months is here....
|
Things have been interesting to say the least.
We've had some good and some bad days. However after 5 months the paperwork has finally arrived in KS from TX. Should I be terrified? I will, maybe, soon be the mother of 8 children - ages 4 to 13.
With all the delays I must admit I am weary right now. This was a much crazier roller coaster ride than our previous adoption through TX.
At this point I would just ask for prayer for my husband and I to really just feel God's will in this adoption or for the door to be shut. There are many variables right now and they really are just in God's hands.

Congratulations on the addition of your new blessings! I am blessed to be the mother to ten children, four that were born from our hearts through adoption. I often tell people that adoption has it's "labor pains" just like a physical birth would- it also has all the Joy's!
I will keep coming back to hear of your journey. Have a wonderful Joy filled week!

I cried for weeks and weeks trying to decide what to do about my girls, to take the siblings of the littlest one who had lived with me for a year. I prayed and prayed, but my fear almost won. It has been three years (on August 9) since all my girls (5) were here together, what an adventure it has been. I will be praying for your family! Please continue to keep us updated.
In His Love,
Carrie
