A Place To Call Home

There are lots of windows in our lives, i.e., window of our soul, closed windows and open windows that God has for our lives, there's what some people call their, "window of opportunity", and there's "eyes are the window to our soul". The assignment is to take a picture, if you're able, find a graphic if you can, and write about your favorite window in your home or the one you look out of when you have those 'daydreaming' moments. Here's mine:
This is a picture of the window in my kitchen. I love to sit here in the rocking chair (mind you, I turn the chair around so I can see out the window), and look out and watch the cars go by. When the weather gets warmer, the Chickadees and other small birds tend to come and sit on the railing of the front steps. We have two cedar trees on either side of the steps, so the birds like to flit around in it.
I will often sit in this chair with a cup of coffee (or tea) and write letters, read my Bible, or just watch. There is just something "peaceful" to me about my window.
A verse I want to share has nothing to do with windows, but is one that the Preacher used last night in his message (We are having Special Meetings all weekend)
1 Cor. 10:13 ~ "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
