......But it pours! Have you ever heard that saying before? My life feels like it is spinning out of control!
My father has now been in the hospital for 6 1/2 weeks. What started as a two-day stay, has now turned into day by day watch of my father slowly fading away. It is just a "waiting game" (for lack of better words), to see when the Lord will finally call him home. So as you can imagine, this is very hard for us to go through ~ watching someone you love slip away a little more each day.
Then my Uncle (who happens to be my Dad's Brother in law, was in the hospital dying of cancer. He passed away early this morning.
My Aunt (my dad's youngest sister and wife to before mentioned Uncle) had a major heart attack last week. After she had the heart attack, she had a stroke and never woke up from it. She passed away Thursday evening. I feel so sad for my cousins because they lost both parents within a day of each other. It is hard enough watching my dad's health decline. I know it is just a matter of time before he graduates to Heaven, but to lose both of my parents at the same time! I can't even imagine what that would be like.
So things are really rough right now. There are other things going on right now that I really don't care to share, but if you think of me, please say a prayer for me. I don't think the sun is going to "shine" for awhile.

Know that you are in my prayers. Times are hard and I know what you are going through, but lean on the Lord and He will hold you up.

I'm so sorry that you're going through so much right now. As a friend told me, it's always darkest before the dawn. I'm praying for you and your family.
