FOR TODAY ~ December 1st, 2008
Outside my window... The snow we got last week is slowly disappearing, and will probably be gone today as it is raining and the temperature is supposed to climb to 15* C (which is very mild for this time of year).
I am thinking... About all that needs to be done, and where should I start first!
I am thankful for... a hard working husband who provides for his family. I am also thankful that my husband is starting his "new job" today ~ thus fulfilling one of his "dreams".
From the learning rooms... no school today, as we have tons of house clenaing to do. I was away all day Saturday, and nothing got accomplished while I was away.
From the kitchen... We will probably be having left over Turkey soup and maybe some hot biscuits to go with it.
I am wearing... a long sleeved brown T-shirt, a denim skirt and socks (yes, I actually have socks on this morning ~ my feet are cold.)
I am creating... some projects that will hopefully get finished in time for Christmas.
I am going... to the Eye Doctor this afternoon. My oldest has his yearly Eye Exam today.
I am reading... my Bible.
I am hoping... to get my house back in some semblance of order today, and prepare school lessons that will take us up to Christmas Break.
I am hearing... The sound of my dog snoring as she sleeps, and two of my three children talking in the background.
Around the house... dishes need to be done, laundry washed, dried, and put away. Baking, floors that need to be swept and mopped .... and tons of other things!
One of my favorite things... the soft glow of the Christmas lights on the Christmas Tree.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Doctors appointments, Grocery shopping, Christmas baking, and school work.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

A Place To Call Home
