I am working on our lesson plans. I have everything ready to go except Writing. I just purchased the Five Finger Paragraph for Homeschooling. It was a reasonable $39.90 for Teacher and Student editions. Has anyone used it? I would love any helpful suggestions in using it. Also, I am wondering if it goes as high of level as the Writing for Excellence. Will I need to change over for high school writing? I have heard a lot of people love Writing for Excellence. But, it is really pricey, each level well over a hundred dollars. Anyone have any information about either of these? Thanks!!

Jul. 27, 2009 - Keep Your Eyes on Him
We are close to the coming of Christ. These days are filled with scary apprehensions of what is to come. The bible says that men's hearts would grow faint at what is to come. However, Jesus said that when we see these signs happen to look up for our redemption draws near. I hope to be like the church of Philidelphia in Revelations, pleasing to Christ, a beautiful bride ready. However, that doesn't mean we, the church, won't suffer. Take a big breath and breath slow. There is nothing God will not allow that he is not in control. We, the church, can surrender all to Him with full confidence that he will help us get through any storm or spiritual warfare that is ahead. Our life on this earth is but a breath as a flower. Whether we live or die does not matter, it is that we are doing God's will, pleasing him, seeking him, and soft puddy in his hands to change to please Him, and for His glory. He is beautiful!! My beautiful savior!! I can't wait to be with Him forever. So, be encouraged, whether we suffer or God takes us out of it, doesn't matter. Just please Him. Keep your eyes up.
Do you remember what grandpa said, in my previous post, when he looked up and saw heaven? He became very excited and said, "This is better than I imagined. This is amazing." He died seeing into heaven. It will indeed be a most beautiful and wonderful place. Keep encouraged and keep your heart towards our redemptor. His time is soon. He is coming to get us.

PS If you read Obama's healthcare plan, which is socialistic agenda-forced abortions, chipping your children, home visits from the state telling you how to raise your children, forced vaccines, healthcare rationing, etc..you will indeed see the time is short. Call your senator, fight it. Keep winning souls and keep alert. Keep running the race so we are commended when He returns.
