Rachel's Tears by Beth Nimmo and Darrell Scott

This book grabbed me from the beginning.  I am amazed by this young girl's faith and trust in the Lord.  Rachel's journal entries really opened my eyes.  I am amazed at the depth of her understanding of what it means to "trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding".  She was proclaiming her love for her heavenly Father right to her very last breath.  Am I that brave?  Do I trust Him enough to do that?  I like to think I do.    My eyes are definitely open a bit wider as to what can happen when I trust in the answer to the prayers I voice.  I highly recommend this book.  It has definitely encouraged me in my walk...
